• 2022 Recap!

I did a 2021 recap last year and was really encouraged by it, so I’m doing another one this year! I have issues with object permanence and it’s easy for me to feel like I’ve done NOTHING, so looking back and writing up the major things that happened and the things that I accomplished is really helpful for me to realize that I did, in fact, DO THINGS!

I created this to help myself realize that I am accomplishing things all the time even though I feel like I haven’t. I did NOT create this to make you feel like you need to compete with me or for you to compare yourself to me. The last thing I want is to make someone else feel bad about themself. Everyone’s life and journey is different, and we are ALL VALID whether or not we accomplished ANYTHING AT ALL. ♥

  • Wanna Interview Me?

Click here to watch the video in another window (now captioned on the video!!!)

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hello, I’m Bunny. You probably already know me if you’re on my website. But today, I wanted to talk about if you wanted to interview me. I’m really enjoying doing interviews for podcasts and YouTube channels and I just thought I would invite more people to do that with me some more!

I have over… let’s see. What is it? 12 years? Yeah. Over 12 years of experience with photography and modeling, self-portraiture. I am an ecosexual. I am very queer. I’m agender. So I’m a trans person. So I have a queer perspective. I have, I hope, an intersectional perspective as much as I’m able to with this white abled body of mine.

Yeah, I have a lot to say about creativity, queerness, ecosexuality, healing, connecting with yourself. So I just wanted to see if anyone here on the world wide web would like to interview me about any of these topics. I also have a lot of practice in getting tattoos. I’m over, what is it? 36 hours now into this current half body tattoo. So I have a lot to say about tattoos also and how the pain of tattoos is important to me, even though some people would be confused by that. But yeah, I can say more in another video.

But yeah, I would love to do more interviews. If you are interested in interviewing me for a variety of things. I have a form that I will share below for a way for you to reach out to me and let me know that you would like to interview me. So just fill it out and I will get in touch with you. I’ve really enjoyed doing interviews. I recently did one for Topless Topics, I did one for Nudism.TV. I’m actually not a nudist, but I am naked a lot. I have a lot to say about that, too. There’s a bunch of topics that I could talk about. So if any of the things that I’ve mentioned here are interesting to you and you want to learn more about it, you’d like to share that information with your audience. Yeah reach out to me. I would love to talk with you about it as, yeah, I have a lot to say.

I don’t want to make this video too long because I want it to be accessible to people and not be boring. So I’m going to leave it at that. But if you would like to interview me, I have a lot of information to share and I would love to do that. So, yeah, reach out! I would love to talk with you! Yay! Thank you. Bye!

  • Tattoo Project with Doug Pierce!

Doug Pierce and I got together via zoom recently so that he could interview me about my tattoos! We had a great conversation and got into a lot of the nuances about my most recent tattoo project, so if you’re curious we have a bunch of videos for you to watch! I also took self portraits to document where I am with my tattoo so far so I’ve shared some of those below! Click through to the galleries to see all of the images.
The interview was about an hour long and I’ve separated it into 14 shorter clips. It would be too many to embed in this blog post, so I’m gonna link to them instead!

Or if you’re looking for answers to certain questions (individual clips):

    – Info about my original back piece tattoo
    – How Doug’s use of tattoos (si’gilyn) in his stories impacts how I feel about tattoos
    – What was the first tattoo I received and how did I know I wanted it?
    – Are most tattoos painful?
    – Is there something about the pain that enhances the experience? How do I manage the pain?
    – Is getting tattooed a spiritual experience for me?
    – What’s the general inspiration for this massive tattoo project?
    – Were my ecosexual and/or agender identities a factor in the overall design of this tattoo?
    – How does this tattoo incorporate or cover up prior tattoos and why?
    – Why is the Poplar Tree in particular so important to me?
    – Who are the individual creatures in the tattoo and what is their significance?
    – What have I learned about myself in going through this process so far?
    – What’s my tattoo healing process?
    – Closing information + shout out to my tattoo artist

  • Goals Check In – Changing/Updating Them is OKAY!

Click here to watch video in another window

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hi friends, welcome to another week in Bunny Town. That’s really silly, okay. Hi. I don’t really have a super plan for what I want to share for the next couple of weeks. But I did want to check in with you about how your goals or not goals are going because I had talked a lot about goals last month. So I wanted to check in. I know, personally, I have met some of them that I’ve made and I’ve also not met some of them and I’m realizing, I think the anti planning stuff, like a combination of not planning and planning is probably going to help me out the most. Because when I have like, very rigid rules and structure of what I need to do, then that like takes away all of my motivation to do it. But when it’s like, here’s a buffet of fun things, you can do. Choose what you want to do and do something every day, that feels a lot better to me.

So I may or may not actually get all the goals that I set for myself at the beginning of the year. Just simply because I think I might have tried to do too many things at once. So, I wanted to check in about goals again with y’all. And tell you that I‘m not necessarily meeting all of mine but that’s okay. That’s kind of why we set them is to try to meet them. But also like just to have something to work towards feels better than just like aimlessly scrolling the internet.

So I’ve been focusing a lot in January on this application for a residency, and I’m like super hoping and dreaming that I’m going to get it. It’s a dream come true to me. If I get it, I’m super hopeful, but if I do get it, I would be spending three weeks in Shenandoah National Park to create art and to offer public programs for Shenandoah National Park, which holy moly. I really would love that to happen so bad. Like dream. So my application is due by the end of the month. Right now I think today is the 25th of January. I’ll probably be sharing this mid-February. So, by the time you see this, I will have already submitted my application and I have my fingers crossed that I’m going to get it. But yeah, so as I was like, right now when I’m recording this it’s due in a few days and I’m pretty sure that I’ve mostly finished it to my satisfaction. I feel like it could be better, but I have spent a lot of hours on it already and I think if I keep tweaking it over and over again, I’m just going to be frustrating myself and maybe not necessarily actually making it any better. So I think I’m to the point where I’m almost ready to submit it.

I keep touching my side because I have the last day of this saniderm on my fresh tattoo and it’s so itchy! Tattoo healing is fun.

So yes. Instead of focusing on making a YouTube video this month, I’ve been focusing on working on this application for the Shenandoah residency which I think is a great thing to work on. And I think that if I have like a priority for each month and have that maybe be a little bit different every month, that might help me instead of like make a video for YouTube every month, make a short every week. Maybe instead of that have like January was focused on The Residency, maybe February, I’ll focus on something else, like the video for YouTube or making more Vlogs for y’all or putting myself out there and trying to get on podcasts and stuff like that. Like having like a theme or a focus for the month might help me. So I might be something that I’ll try instead of a really rigid like, do this every month kind of thing. So we’ll see how it goes. I think it’s important to be flexible and I’ve noticed that when I’m really rigid with myself it doesn’t go super well. Yeah, I’m gonna… I’m going to try to be more flexible and go with what makes the most sense and makes me happy and works for me and the things I’m trying to do in whatever time frame it is. Yeah.

So before I take the saniderm off, I’ll go ahead and show you all the newest section of my tattoo. I got it mid-January. So, it’s pretty itchy. It still has saniderm on it. So it’s like a clear sticker, but it’s pretty healed, but the Cardinal and these two branches above it are, what’s fresh. And I think it looks real awesome! I’m so happy! So, I’m eventually going to be a whole tree. But right now I’m half the tree. I’m like, done to my hip. We have a lot more to go, but I’m getting closer almost every month. Trying to think if there’s anything else I want to share with you before I go. I think it’s good to just check in about goals and let you know how I’m doing. And I’d love to hear how you’re doing. Yeah, leave a comment or email me. I would love to hear how things are going for you. If any of my Vlogs about goals or anti planning has helped you at all. I’d love to know. Have a great day! I love you! Bye!

  • Official Poplar Tree Tattoo Tour!

Click here to watch video in another window

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hey, so I haven’t officially done a tattoo tour yet for y’all and I know I’ve been talking about my tattoos a lot and you’ve seen them and I’ve showed photos and stuff, but I wanted to do like an official tour for y’all today. So, here we go. I might need to move the camera some or like have some weird angles or something, to show you everything or probably just stand on my bed. I don’t know. So I know you’ve seen some of it. And I’m currently like I think I’m getting my next session is next week. So by the time you see this, I’ll already have my next session and it’ll look a little different, but this is where we are. I’m recording this mid-January, but this is going to be shared, I think early February, probably.

So yeah, I don’t want to… I’m doing it now because I don’t want to do like a tour when I still have a tattoo that’s healing. I want it to already be mostly healed before I do this. Because if it’s really fresh, it’s like bleedy and irritated and frustrated, and it like sometimes looks a little scary. So, I’m doing this since I’m healed from my last session and it’s before my most current session that’s going to happen next week.

So, here we go. I started this tattoo in September of 2020. We have been doing it about once a month since then. I’ve had a bunch of sessions, we’re over 28 hours into this tattoo. It took 12 hours just to get all the outlining done and we’re getting closer to getting more of the color done. We started color a few months ago and my leg and butt are finished. We’re working up my hip now. So right now, we’re mostly just that we’re working up from the bottom. So the last thing to be done will probably be my arm.

So all the outlining has been done, but we’re working on coloring it all in. So I’m going to stand up to show you the base of my tattoo, and then we’re going to move up from there. So my tattoo starts down here at my ankle with the… see if I can get closer… with a little frog. And it’s the base of the tree. This is a Poplar tree, some Poplar flowers, lemme move again. So from the front, this is what you see. Here’s the side, my leg. And the back… got my butt done! So excite!

So on my hip, I have a red tailed hawk. All of these creatures in my tattoo I have a personal relationship with, and I mean, obviously the tree too like, I grew up in North Carolina and a lot of these are around my house or I’ve seen a lot. So here’s my butt I’m gonna go over here so you can see more. I have a little snail on my butt. Isn’t it cute? I love the snail! So this is where we finished off last time. So my butt and leg are done. We’re working up. I’m guessing we’ll probably do this Cardinal next. You might be able to see. Let’s see. Nope, too far.

You might be able to see the couple of red lines here. We did a color test last time, sometimes people are allergic to ink and tattoos. And that as you can imagine causes a big problem. The most common color to be problematic for people, in terms of being allergic to ink is red. That is like, if somebody is allergic to the ink it’s most likely going to be red ink. So those little red lines. Right there on the, on the Cardinal. Those are a color test to make sure that my skin will heal with that color, and thankfully it did. So I probably won’t have problems with red. So that’s going to be all red. So, Cardinal, we got, the tree comes up my whole side. So this front, this cat was already here.

I can see in the back. Let’s see if I can point to things, so the cat was already there. Here’s all my branches. Have a dragonfly. It’s going to be painted or not painted, it’s going to be colored in blue dragonfly. On the back here, in the center, this bird, that’s a bilateral gynandromorph rose-breasted grosbeak. And I know you probably are like what the fuck is that? The rose-breasted grosbeak is a bird that I think is more North like Northeast. I haven’t actually seen any in person. This is the only bird that I don’t have a personal relationship with, but in I think it was 2020 scientists and researchers found a bilateral gynandromorph rose-breasted grosbeak and what that means is, it’s the bird, but since it’s bilateral gynandromorph, that means it’s half male and half female, which is really fucking cool. I’ll put a link below with the like an article with information about that. But I was like, I need a half male and half female bird on me. So that’s why that one’s there. It’ll be colored in really cool. So that guy.

LINK FOR MORE INFO ABOUT BILATERAL GYNANDROMORPH ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK

I have a hummingbird up here. It’ll be a ruby-throated hummingbird. So there’s my back. For now. And front goes across here, this is a Carolina Wren. I’m going to this is going to be one of those black and blue butterflies. More tree. This is a tufted titmouse. They’re so cute. We had one when I was a kid. Well, there’s a baby one that fell into our truck when I was a kid and it was too young to be on its own yet, but it was old enough that it didn’t really need a parent. So we fed it like dry cat food that we had soaked in water to let it get really soft. We fed it that for a little bit and then once I started flying and seemed ready to go. We let it outside and there was like a couple of other tufted titmouse, that seemed to adopt it in our backyard. So so cute. So that’s this.

And then I’ve got a chickadee on the back here. See if I can show you this way. Little chickadee. They’re so cute. My elbow… my elbow is empty right now, but it will have a little spider and spider web in there. Elbow tattoos are painful as fuuuuck. They’re not fun at all. So that’s why I don’t want anything really to cover up the whole space. Like a spider web will be a way less painful, because they have a lot of open space and it’s not all colored in, but I… because I wanted it to not be blank, but I also didn’t want to kill myself with a lot of pain in my elbow because it’s not fun. Even just the stuff like around here was really not fun at all. So spiderwebs going to hurt. That’s gonna be okay. Lower arm. I already had this but I have a, let’s turn this way. This is a Luna Moth that will be colored in eventually. So yeah, that’s my tattoo.

Yay! Tattoo tour! if you have any questions about my tattoo, or how it’s going so far, or wanting updates, whatever, comment, let me know. I’d love to hear from you. Yeah. I hope you like the tattoo tour, it was fun. By the time I do another one I’ll have more color. I don’t know how often I’ll do these, but I’m for sure gonna do a tattoo tour when it’s finished, which will probably be another year from now. Thank you for being here! Thanks for watching! I love you so much, and I’ll talk to you soon! Bye!

  • 2021 Recap!

I enjoy looking back + seeing all the progress I’ve made over the year. It helps me realize that I did in fact actually do things + work toward my goals.

Sometimes my brain likes to tell me that I’ve done NOTHING + gotten NOTHING accomplished, that I’ve wasted the whole year.

Does your brain do that to you too?

Maybe looking back through your year to see all that you’ve done will benefit you too!

  • Tattoo update

Alex Santaloci at Iron Ghost Tattoo did another few hours on my Poplar tree tattoo today!

My butt is really sore. Currently icing it while laying on my belly and watching tv 🙃

I’ll get a better photo in a few days when it’s not red, swollen, and covered in saniderm.

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hi friends! So I have some updates for you and I’m going to try to not make it too long because I have a tendency to make these videos kind of long when I don’t really mean to. So, here we go.

I have decided that the virtual nude gatherings… the one that’s coming up on October 9th, which is the next one that is scheduled, will be the last one for this year. I have been facilitating online events, between 1 and 3 every month for more than a year and a half now, and I am starting to feel burnt out on them. So in order to make sure that I am providing a good experience, I don’t want to do something that I feel burnt out on. So I’m doing this one in October and that will be the last one for this year.

I probably will continue doing these virtual nude gatherings in the future, I just don’t have them on the schedule. I’m not sure when I will start the backup again. I have super enjoyed doing them and I’m really looking forward to hanging out with y’all naked one more time before I take a break, but I very much need a break.

I am finding myself avoiding being on the computer a lot and like really having no motivation to do computer things, which is telling me that I need a break, so that’s something new. So if you haven’t come to a nude gathering yet, and you really wanted to, you have one more chance, which will be Saturday, October 9th at 1 p.m. Eastern time. So it’s like, North Carolina/New York City time, East Coast time. And that’s gonna be the last one for this year. I don’t know when I’m gonna do them again. It’s been super fun, but I need a break very badly.

I just got more tattoo done day before yesterday. So I’m in process of healing that. What’s new? And I do want to do a members-only event, maybe in November, when I know I just said that I’m getting burnt out on online events, but this is something that I haven’t done before and I’m kind of curious to see how it will go.

I mentioned the last Vlog that I did that I was thinking about doing an event online where you like, went through photos with me and helped me pick out favorites. So that sounds fun, and I will like, kind of do two things at once. Y’all get hang out and I get to hang out with you, and I finally get to go through these pictures that I’ve been avoiding because there’s a lot of them, so we get to do it together and I’ll be like, encouragement for me to do it, and also, y’all get like the first look at things that I haven’t shared with anybody yet. So, I’m excited for that. Right now I’m looking at Thursday, November 18th, maybe in the eventing like 6 p.m. Eastern just, you know, because I know a lot of people still work 9-5s during the week. So let me know if that works for you. Hopefully it does. I can’t really find any other days that would work well for my schedule.

So I’m excited for that. Let’s do that. I know I just said I’m not doing online events, but I really like I don’t know how else to do these kinds of things and I do still want to have times where we can hang out together. For this one, I think it’s going to be more like a webinar. So what that means is instead of it being like a meeting where we’re all having video and talking on the screen at one time. It’s going to be more like, I will be the one talking and being on the screen and y’all can communicate through the chat.  That’s less overwhelming for me. And I feel like we’ll be able to actually get through more of the photos together if it’s that way, so that’s what I’m considering, so we can still communicate and hang out, it just will not be like face-to-face will be more like… Me with the screen on with all the photos and y’all like type in the chat to et me know how you like them. If that sounds good, let me know if it sounds not good, let me know. I would really love your feedback. I am just trying to do things in a way that is sustainable for me and doing a monthly face-to-face big group things is not sustainable for me right now, on the computer.

I really would love to start doing things in person again, I’m not sure if I’m ready for that and especially with it starting to get cold. Like, it’s not really that cold yet, but in the coming months its going to start getting colder. In person is not really available because I’d much rather do it outside because of covid. So maybe I can consider something outside in the spring in person.

I still have a dream of doing like an artist retreat where I get like this big airbnb and we all come together and like hang out in the same space for like a long weekend and create art together and hang out and eat yummy food and have cuddle piles and just like hang out naked and have a lot of fun. So that’s definitely on my goals list for the future. I don’t know when, again… Yeah, I have a lot of things like rolling around in my head and I’m just trying to figure out a way that I can still be present with y’all that is sustainable for me. Because I’m feeling myself getting more and more burnt out by being on the computer and being online and being on social media and doing all things.

It just makes me want to avoid all of it all together. And I really don’t want to do that because I don’t want to just like abandon y’all because y’all are literally the reason that I’m able to do any of this in the first place, so I want to put y’all as the priority because you are the priority for me. I would much rather do stuff for y’all them like social media. Yeah, that’s where I’m at right now.

If yall have anything that you are curious about or have suggestions or feedback or requests for I would love to hear it. Yeah, I don’t want to make this too long. It’s already 7 minutes long. So I think I’m gonna pause for now. Yeah. I love you so much. I’m really trying to shift things in a way that works for me and is still something that y’all would enjoy and I’m kind of at the moment struggling to find what that is because computers are draining. And I just want to be like roaming around in the woods, so finding a happy medium is the hard part, but uh… oh.

I’m going to show you my new tattoo. It’s well, the colored in part of my tattoo. The video is going to move, just to give you a heads-up, I’m gonna pick my phone up, so I can show you my leg. And so if you’re like, get really dizzy or something by movement of the video, this is your warning.

So, you know, I have my whole leg, well, most of my body… we just finished. Oh gosh – can I see? We just finished the hawk. I still have a saniderm on it. We did this, leave these leaves, these leaves and these flowers and leaves are all new and fresh. Now I I have one of my birds is colored in. Yay. I have a hawk. So yeah the saniderm is going to be on for a few more days and then it will be mostly healed and then I get to like wash it twice a day and put a bunch of lotion on it for a while. But yeah, I’ve been icing it so my leg’s kind of cold. Yay.

Putting this down on my computer I pressed something and now my computer’s like, what did you do? Okay, so this is long enough. I just want to give you like an update on what’s going on. Yeah. I love you so much. Thank you for being here. Yeah, I’m gonna…

I’m going to just go ahead and schedule this members only let’s go through photos together. I’ll make a post about it. You don’t have to sign up on Eventbrite. What I’m going to do is *burp* Excuse me. What I’m going to do is, make the zoom link and put it in the blog post so that you have it. And I’ll repost it for like maybe the week before and then like the day before and the day of the event. So you have a heads up. Okay. I love you! Thank you! *MWAH*
