2022 Recap!
I did a 2021 recap last year and was really encouraged by it, so I’m doing another one this year! I have issues with object permanence and it’s easy for me to feel like I’ve done NOTHING, so looking back and writing up the major things that happened and the things that I accomplished is really helpful for me to realize that I did, in fact, DO THINGS!
I created this to help myself realize that I am accomplishing things all the time even though I feel like I haven’t. I did NOT create this to make you feel like you need to compete with me or for you to compare yourself to me. The last thing I want is to make someone else feel bad about themself. Everyone’s life and journey is different, and we are ALL VALID whether or not we accomplished ANYTHING AT ALL. ♥

Wanna Interview Me?
Click here to watch the video in another window (now captioned on the video!!!)
CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:
Hello, I’m Bunny. You probably already know me if you’re on my website. But today, I wanted to talk about if you wanted to interview me. I’m really enjoying doing interviews for podcasts and YouTube channels and I just thought I would invite more people to do that with me some more!
I have over… let’s see. What is it? 12 years? Yeah. Over 12 years of experience with photography and modeling, self-portraiture. I am an ecosexual. I am very queer. I’m agender. So I’m a trans person. So I have a queer perspective. I have, I hope, an intersectional perspective as much as I’m able to with this white abled body of mine.
Yeah, I have a lot to say about creativity, queerness, ecosexuality, healing, connecting with yourself. So I just wanted to see if anyone here on the world wide web would like to interview me about any of these topics. I also have a lot of practice in getting tattoos. I’m over, what is it? 36 hours now into this current half body tattoo. So I have a lot to say about tattoos also and how the pain of tattoos is important to me, even though some people would be confused by that. But yeah, I can say more in another video.
But yeah, I would love to do more interviews. If you are interested in interviewing me for a variety of things. I have a form that I will share below for a way for you to reach out to me and let me know that you would like to interview me. So just fill it out and I will get in touch with you. I’ve really enjoyed doing interviews. I recently did one for Topless Topics, I did one for Nudism.TV. I’m actually not a nudist, but I am naked a lot. I have a lot to say about that, too. There’s a bunch of topics that I could talk about. So if any of the things that I’ve mentioned here are interesting to you and you want to learn more about it, you’d like to share that information with your audience. Yeah reach out to me. I would love to talk with you about it as, yeah, I have a lot to say.
I don’t want to make this video too long because I want it to be accessible to people and not be boring. So I’m going to leave it at that. But if you would like to interview me, I have a lot of information to share and I would love to do that. So, yeah, reach out! I would love to talk with you! Yay! Thank you. Bye!

Tattoo Project with Doug Pierce!
Doug Pierce and I got together via zoom recently so that he could interview me about my tattoos! We had a great conversation and got into a lot of the nuances about my most recent tattoo project, so if you’re curious we have a bunch of videos for you to watch! I also took self portraits to document where I am with my tattoo so far so I’ve shared some of those below! Click through to the galleries to see all of the images. The interview was about an hour long and I’ve separated it into 14 shorter clips. It would be too many to embed in this blog post, so I’m gonna link to them instead! CLICK HERE TO WATCH ALL THE INTERVIEW CLIPS
Or if you’re looking for answers to certain questions (individual clips):
– Info about my original back piece tattoo
– How Doug’s use of tattoos (si’gilyn) in his stories impacts how I feel about tattoos
– What was the first tattoo I received and how did I know I wanted it?
– Are most tattoos painful?
– Is there something about the pain that enhances the experience? How do I manage the pain?
– Is getting tattooed a spiritual experience for me?
– What’s the general inspiration for this massive tattoo project?
– Were my ecosexual and/or agender identities a factor in the overall design of this tattoo?
– How does this tattoo incorporate or cover up prior tattoos and why?
– Why is the Poplar Tree in particular so important to me?
– Who are the individual creatures in the tattoo and what is their significance?
– What have I learned about myself in going through this process so far?
– What’s my tattoo healing process?

Hidden Pool Self Portraits
CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:
Hey friends! Welcome to another week of…. uhm… I don’t even know what to call it. Blursday, blursmonth, blursyear. My mom told me about blursday which I think is pretty appropriate for covid times because now more than ever we are very aware that time is made up. Anyway, speaking of time… the photos that I’m sharing with you this week were taken a couple years ago, in I believe 2018. These are some self portraits that I took very close to a waterfall that I found…. this waterfall.. kinda. Let me back up. I went on my first road trip by myself in 2018, it was a long weekend, and I believe it was the first time that I stayed in my van by myself also. I went to the mountains in NC and visited several waterfalls and I hiked and had lots of fun. Since it was my first little road trip by myself I was kindof nervous because I didn’t know what to expect and I had always done road trips with someone else. It was really, honestly it was really freeing to go on a road trip by myself and realize that I don’t have to have another person with me in order to have a good time. This waterfall is basically off the side of a highway… well not really a highway, off the side of a mountain road out in the country in the mountains of NC. I basically parked on the side of the road where there was space and hiked down a really really steep hill. You’ve probably seen a video of me with a snail, that was the same place, that was when I was hiking down I found the snail, it was so cute it was really big! It was a big snail! So I made a little friend… but this is that same trip, that same place. If you’ve been here a while and remember the snail. Yeah this is around some rocks from the waterfall, it’s a really big waterfall and this was a little pool kinda at the base of the waterfall where I took these self portraits, so I hope you enjoy them, I very much love them, it was a great time.
The videos I’m sharing this week have nothing to do with the photos. I took these couple of videos with my parents and one of them my aunt joined in. They’re interview-style where we talked about how our family is a little bit different than most other families, and some of our family history a little bit. We took these…. I think it was sometime in 2019 so these videos are also not super new, but I’ve just been holding on to them because I do that? But I hope you enjoy them.
First look folks.. I’m sharing some photos that I took of Lior Allay & Jacs Fishburne when I was in Columbus Ohio with Lior in the fall of 2019. This is some photos that I took of them at Jacs’ place and BTS videos from taking those photos. I also have some photos I took that are BTS with Lior when they were here…. I think that was after… I think it was late 2019 when they were here. Time doesn’t make sense, I’m not even going to try to be exact with time because time doesn’t matter, I mean it does, but time is weird. There was a time when Lior came here and they shot with my friend Kara Perry and I took some BTS of them shooting so that’s also being shared to first look. It has nothing to do with my trip with Lior visiting Jacs in Columbus, but I figured since it’s more Lior things I would share it with first look this week too.
I am going to Granny’s house again next week so I’m going to record next week’s vlog today, like after I’m done with this one, so that’s why I’m gonna be wearing the same clothes. Also because I wear the same clothes a lot in general, so if I’m wearing the same clothes that doesn’t necessarily mean it was something that was done the same day. Since I’ll be out of town next week at Granny’s and I probably won’t have as much time to do computer work stuff, I’m going to get it done this week hopefully that way I won’t have to worry about it next week so… yeah.
Thank you for being here, I appreciate that you care about the things that I create. It means a lot that yall show up here with me every week and look at my content and I love when you comment or message me and let me know your thoughts on what I create, because how am I going to make anything that you like if I don’t know what you like? But also I mostly create what I like and hope that the right people come along that also like the same things as me. I don’t really wanna make things that I’m not into just because other people like it, you know? I wanna make things that I’m excited about and I think it shows in my work when I’m excited about something, so yeah… thanks for caring about the same things that I do, like nudity, and nature, and connection to community. I love you, thanks for being here, I’ll talk to you next week! Bye!

Self Portraits in Utah
CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:
Good morning friends. I’m trying to not be too distracted. I started my period this morning so I’m in pain but I wanted to continue to, you know, be consistent with yall. *sigh* It’s hard to focus when your uterus is trying to turn itself inside out. So this week I’m sharing another self portrait set that I took in Utah in the summer of 2019 and the behind the scenes video and first look is getting another self portrait set from Utah in 2019 and the BTS video. The first look BTS video makes me laugh because when I was taking these self portraits I was on this really long dirt road outside of Grand Staircase Escalante and I thought I was the only one there but there were like, I think 2 instances where a car drove by and I had to grab my camera and hide behind my van. So you get to see that happening and that’s kinda funny of me rushing “oh shit I gotta hide!” so yeah that’s a thing. That’s for first look people. The BTS this week for everybody isn’t as exciting, I mean it IS exciting because you get to see me taking self portraits, but nobody catches me which is good.
Yeah so this morning I’m in pain because I’m menstruating and the last maybe year or so I’ve been having menstrual pain the first day of my period, which didn’t really happen before when I had an IUD, but since I’ve taken that out, around a year ago now, my period has changed a little bit. Getting to know my body without any medical intervention things has been good, but yeah painful. I woke up at like 6:30 this morning in pain and I haven’t really been able to go back to sleep so I figured I might as well do this. The… I don’t really have much else to say about the photosets, I really love them, I hope you do too. I want to go back to Utah. Hopefully later this week I’ll be going to the mountains by myself, depending on how my period goes and if I think it’s safe to be out there sleeping in my van for a couple of days, because I do still want to like, use public restrooms and things because that’s slightly more comfortable when you’re on your period, to use a public restroom than to use a bush.
It’s hard to concentrate. Uhm oh hi squirrely. Oh I realized that I’m shadowbanned on instagram which makes me angry and I just switched to a creator profile because the analytics and stuff are cool but I feel like that’s probably part of why I got shadowbanned, and also because I had a photo that was deleted because it “violates community guidelines” except it DOESN’T, there’s no nipple or anything, you just see a little bit of underboob and it’s not the highlight of the photo, so I just am… I feel like I dislike instagram more every day but sadly that’s where most of the people I want to follow and see what they’re doing and meet with are existing online so it’s complicated. I have a very much love hate relationship with instagram. I just wish instagram was run by like, queer anarchists or something you know, then everything would be better, but sadly IG is run by cis white men that have lots of money so we know how that goes. I really wanted to be slightly more interesting this week but my period is fogging my brain and I don’t have much else to say. I got my haircut, I like having it really short like this because it feels really good to rub it.
I do want to tell you about the next Going Beyond the Lens event that’s coming up that I’m excited about. It’s going to be on Sep… oop September, I’m not going back in time. It’s going to be on November 21st which is a Saturday, at 1pm eastern and we are going to be discussing erotic art! If you’ve read my last few Saturday posts you know that I don’t want sexual attention so this erotic art event is uncomfortable for me and feels vulnerable but I’m basically going to be like the asexual representation at this event, so you’ll get a well-rounded conversation about erotic art. I’m excited and nervous about it, I think it’s going to be a good one. If you’d like to join us we have a special guest that’s going to be a part of it and I’m really excited. So I’ll put the link in the caption of this video so you can join us. It’s a free event, FREE, free free free, you don’t have to pay anything to join, and it’s going to be a live group video call for everybody that comes. I’m really excited, these events usually last around 3 hours. They’re always really fun and I always get a lot out of them, so while I’m kindof nervous talking about erotic art and it feels vulnerable to me, I’m still excited because I think we’re all going to learn some cool things. I’m also really excited to see what people submit for their erotic art, because you know, I always love seeing everybody else’s work. If you have erotic art you’d like to share with us for this event, there’s a link for that too. I’ll put that in the caption so you can submit your art if you want.
CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE EROTIC ART EVENT
CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT YOUR EROTIC ARTI think that’s all I have to say, I love you so much, thank you for being here with me every week. I will continue to be here with you every week, at whatever capacity is possible, even if it’s like today and I’m kinda out of it because I’m in pain. Y’all are important to me so I want to continue to be consistent and sometimes that means I’m partially present and other times that means I’m very present. Today I’m partially present because my uterus is screaming at me. I love being on my period, once the pain goes away on the first day it’s a great time. I like the cycle of my body and how it usually follows the full moon and how it connects me to myself so I really like that. Also speaking of menstruation and censorship, I have a video on Youtube about why I love menstruating as an agender person and the cover photo I have for it was a photo of me that my friend Portraitmami took. It’s basically me in white underwear with blood on them and blood on my leg. You can’t see any genitalia, it’s just underwear with period blood on it but youtube decided that that was either violent or nude, even though it’s neither of those things, but youtube decided to delete my cover photo for that video because it said youtube doesn’t like seeing menstrual blood even though I think it’s awesome. More annoyance at censorship and bullshit online platforms that I feel like are also necessary because everybody is using them. So this is me ranting about bullshit censorship and bullshit social media things but… I digress. Okay yeah that’s all I have for this week. This is already a longer video than I usually make. Yeah I just wanted to say hi and I love you and I’m so glad that you’re here and literally youre the reason I’m able to pay rent and buy myself food so that means a lot. I also really like speaking to yall and seeing the things you’re interested in that I’m doing and I love hearing feedback so yeah the conversations that I’ve had with yall have been really wonderful and I’d like to continue that. Please comment on this post or send me an email or whatever feels best for you. I’m open to chatting about the things that you like and the things you’re inspired by and any questions you have.
Oh yeah how could I forget?! I was interviewed for Lenscratch which is a big photography magazine kinda thing and I was interviewed and it was amazing so I’m going to put a link here too because I think it’s a really great introduction to my work. The person who did the interview with me, Kat Davis, asked really excellent questions that really helped me articulate my process and the meaning behind my work so that’s great. So if you’d like to check out that interview I’ll put the link to that in the caption also. Yeah okay now I’m just rambling. I love you, thank you for being here, check out all the things, yeah thank you. Hopefully my cramps go away soon. You get to witness me and my crampiness. Ok. I love you! Bye.

CAPTION FOR VIDEO ABOVE:
Hello! We had a really big storm last night and it rained over 3 inches overnight, so a lot of the plants have been having a hard time and they’re all falling over. Poor plants. I think everything is still kinda moist. Okay, so this weekend I’m sharing with you a photoset, actually it’s 2 photosets from when I was creating with Kristy Jessica aka Pure Rebel last summer outside of Seattle we went to a waterfall in Washington and it was gorgeous! We hiked around to the actual waterfall part and there were too many people around and we just couldn’t find a good spot to shoot so we went back and down the river/creek area a little bit, down the path, and found a spot next to the water with these huge rocks and trees and it was gorgeous so we shot there. We didn’t even shoot at the official waterfall. I shot some photos of her and she shot some photos of me and it was awesome! I was also frustrated with myself because I didn’t realize it until we were at the place ready to shoot and had already hiked up the little mountain trail… that I left my film in my van. So instead of trekking back to my van and then back to the spot, I just shot digitals of her. This was well over a month into my trip and I was starting to… I don’t know be… I guess a little more tired and out of it or something. I was frustrated with myself that I forgot my film so… I think this is actually, with the exception of the photos I took of Ravyn that were digital just because she wanted some content to be able to share sooner than the film… this was the only photoset I took that was digital that I don’t have any film photos of her. Yeah, so I was frustrated and disappointed in myself that I forgot my film, but the digitals still came out really amazing and Kristy is an incredible model so I’m really excited that we got to do that.
I have some BTS video of her shooting me, I don’t have BTS of me shooting her because I was using my digital camera to shoot her and I can’t do both things with my camera at once. The first look people, I’m sharing some photos from Chris Widick in Nashville that he took of me with strawberries last summer before my trip. They’re awesome, I love these photos. I have a lot of cool new things to share with you.
I don’t have a lot of new things to share right now, by the time you watch this video it’ll be Saturday, and it’ll be very close to the event that Lior and Doug and Crossing Hedgerows are going to be co-hosting with me, Conscious Creativity 2020. We did CC last year outside of Detroit Michigan in person at Crossing Hedgerows Sanctuary which is a permaculture farm, but of course because of covid we aren’t able to do an in person event this year so we’re taking it online and I’m very excited. This usually posts at about 8am, there’s still time to sign up and join us because the event is at 1pm eastern, so if you see this video and you’re like “oh I didn’t know, let’s do this” you can still sign up, it’s at the link in my bio on IG, I think I posted about it last week too, I’ll put a link in the comments (CLICK HERE TO JOIN US FOR FREE). You won’t have a whole lot of time to sign up because it’s at 1pm but it’s FREE so please join us, we would love it! Also I’ve been doing some IG lives with Lior and Doug, I did an IG live with Lior on Wednesday and I’ll be doing one on Friday with Doug, and those are just to give you a little bit more of a preview of what to expect during the event so If you want more info you can go to IG and look at those.
What else do I want to share today? I’m doing this early again this week because tomorrow, which is Thursday for me right now, is usually the day that I do these but I will be helping my friend move, so I’m doing this a day early. Also I don’t know if you’ve noticed, my face is real mad at me. All the skin around my lips is real chapped, that’s because I’ve been making out a lot and my face is like “what are you doing?” Yeah my skin is so sensitive when I make out a lot it freaks out and gets real dry. But it also doesn’t help that I’m making out with somebody with a beard. Does this happen to you? Do you get like… really chapped around your face around your mouth when you make out with somebody? Because I do. If you do you’re not alone because look at my face. I feel like it looks ridiculous but I’m just.. you know, there’s nothing I can do about it I can just keep putting stuff on it to help it heal. And also I do not regret making out, because making out is fun.
Yeah I don’t have much else to share today and I want to get a lot of stuff done so this is your video for this week. I love you! Thank you for being here, I appreciate you so much! One day I’ll figure out other things that I want to do with all of this but for now I’m just taking it one step at a time. I love you, thank you, I’ll talk to you next week, bye!
