• Red Maple with Celeste Call

    Remember the bodypaint photoset of Celeste Call that I shared earlier this month? She took this photoset of me earlier that morning! Celeste is an excellent model AND photographer! She shoots really quickly which is fun and makes for a really exciting shoot because she has so much energy! I grew up with this Red Maple tree in my parents back yard and it was really great incorporating it (and it’s brilliant red color!) in this shoot.
    CURRENTLY:
    I’m outside of Sequoia National Forest in Porterville CA at a Panera using their free wifi. It’s SOOOO SLOWWWW but I have to make due with what I can find! All I have to do is get this post all ready for yall this weekend, then I can continue on exploring. I have a lot of other things I’d like to get done, but this is priority and the other stuff can wait til I have a more reliable connection.
    I had an AMAZING time in Joshua Tree last weekend. Well, technically my airbnb was in Yucca Valley, but it’s neighboring Joshua Tree and more people know about JT than Yucca Valley. Tao Ruspoli owns the airbnb (google him! he’s an amazing artist) and I was able to pose for him in his brand new pool. I finally met and created with Moss Von Faustenberg who is someone I’ve been a fan of for YEARS, and two of his photographer/model friends. I spent a lot of time with my friends Melody and Brooke, and took some photos with Melody on my last morning there. It was a really relaxing and art-filled weekend, which is just what I wanted and needed.

  • Studio with PhotoWyse & Colorvibes

    This past winter I met up with my friends Colorvibes and PhotoWyse for a fun day of creating nudes in my favorite studio, Flaming Chicken Studio. We shot a bunch of bodyscapes and other classic studio stuff. My favorites from the shoot are the images of Colorvibes & me together!
    Sadly this was my last shoot at Flaming Chicken because there was a fire next door (in the same building) and they had to move out, along with a TON of the studio stuff getting smoke damaged. I’m so thankful that we were able to use the space before it was gone! BUT! I did hear a rumor they might be opening up again sometime soon?!
    CURRENTLY:
    It’s Tuesday the 11th and I have wifi for a bit and have NO IDEA when I’ll have internet again so I’m working this weekend’s post while I have the chance! I’m in Torrey Utah right outside of Capitol Reef National Park. I’m on day 12 of my cross country road trip adventure and I am TIRED. I’ve been doing soooo much every day that I’ve decided that I’m not doing much today and I’m just going to hang out in the shade until sunset. I’m already a little sunburnt, definitely thirsty, really sweaty and dirty, but sooooo happy. I love Utah, it’s like another PLANET. I’ve never seen any other place like this, the colors and textures and shapes occurring naturally here are just incredible.
    I’ve made a vlog at least once every day so far on my trip, you can watch all of them by clicking here! I’ll be continually uploading new ones when I have reliable internet. I’ll also be starting a youtube channel soon!

  • Kara’s apartment with Bette Machete

    I’ve already shared the images I took of Bette Machete in this location, now it’s time for me to share the photos she took of me! These photos were taken at our friend Kara Perry‘s apartment, and in a couple of the photos you can see her 3 legged pit bull Tank!
    CURRENTLY:
    I’m scheduling this post wayyyy earlier than usual. I usually schedule Saturday’s stuff on Wednesdays, but I’m staying with someone who has wifi and I have NO IDEA where I’ll be in the next couple of days or what the wifi situation will be like, so I feel better getting this ready earlier rather than later.
    I successfully drove from Charlotte NC to Denver CO! I left Friday morning at 7:30am (EST) and got to Denver yesterday/Sunday around 5pm (MT). I’ve been making daily mini vlogs about my travels, I’ll be sharing them to my free mailing list and in the member galleries.     I drove over 1500 miles in 3 days. Friday I drove to southern Illinois and stayed with my friend Tiffany Nacke (who is an amazing model and photographer!). Saturday I shot with Tiffany and we hung out until I left around 4pm, drove from southern Illinois to Topeka Kansas and stayed in my van. Sunday I drove from Topeka to Denver Colorado and stayed in my van. Tonight I’m staying at Singingsiren44‘s house (we’re shooting in the morning!), and I’m not sure what I’m doing after that. I’ll probably stay in Denver for another day, maybe two, before I head west again toward Utah. I’ll be in Utah by the time this posts.
