    I originally wrote this for Patreon on December 24th 2016. I no longer use Patreon and have replaced it with my website (here) but thought I would share some of my old blogs with you for FREE to show my appreciation for you visiting my website! <3

    Today is Erica Jay‘s birthday so I thought it would be the perfect time to share my photographs of her with you! We worked together a few years ago when I hosted her while she was coming through NC. The images of her that are now in the gallery are from the first time we met. We worked together again later on when we met up in Nashville, all of the photos I took of her then were for Diplopia. This first image of her below (which was taken in my parents back yard) is blown up large in black and white and is now hanging in their “bar room,” which is a prominent room in the middle of their house. My parents are so freaking awesome, that room has a bunch of my photographs of nude models on the walls. <3 My dad says he has breakfast with them most mornings, haha.

    The images of Mikki Marvel were also taken in my parents back yard (it’s really pretty! Can you blame me?) and were taken while being filmed for James McMahen‘s documentary Duality. Mikki is super fun to work with and even though she also is based in Charlotte somehow we’ve only each photographed each other once!

    Kelso Deano visited Charlotte on the way home from a family vacation a couple years ago and I photographed her for both Diplopia and for nude double exposure portraits. After our shoot in my old apartment I took her to one of my favorite local places here called Amelie’s, which is a 24/7 french bakery and coffee shop. It looks like it was decorated by the Mad Hatter in a french theme! It’s super cute and all their pastries and food are DELICIOUS.

  • Dream Room with Antisocialdisposition

    If you’ve been a member for a while you probably remember all the photosets I’ve shared from the creative day at Durham Fruit with Antisocialdisposition, Roarie Yum, and Mikki Marvel. This is the LAST PHOTOSET from that day! Whew! We created so much and it was such a fun day!
    CURRENTLY: I still am thinking about making vlogs to share but I’m realizing it’s a LOT of work and I don’t know if I can feasibly make it happen every week. Maybe I will just create extra videos for All Access members? I haven’t decided! For now, I’ll keep typing up blog posts until I figure it out. Oh, did I mention I finally started a youtube channel?!
    I’ve been feeling like I’m in a really transitional phase (still haha, it’s been going on for over a year now) and I don’t know when things will feel “normal” again. What even is normal?! I used to be very scheduled and plan things months ahead and it would stress me out to change plans… and now I’m purposefully NOT scheduling things far out because now I know how much can change within the span of a month (or a week to be honest) and I don’t want to commit to something that I potentially might have to back out of later. It feels really good to be more intuitive, flexible, and protective of my schedule. How do you use your schedule in a way that feels good for you?

    This flexible plastic thing was on a projector in one of the upstairs rooms at Durham Fruit and Antisocialdisposition had the fun idea of using it to distort our faces for some silly shots. I’m sharing the whole set with all of you so you can get a laugh out of them too!

    First blog and photoset/video release of 2019!!! This one is really special because Antisocialdisposition was nice enough to let me share not only the photos he took of me, but ALSO the photos he took of Roarie Yum and Mikki Marvel with this light installation by Y0ungestelle at Durham Fruit! The full 20+ minute BTS video is in the video galleries ready to be watched too, so you can be a fly on the wall during the creation of this photoset!

    Roarie messaged me and a few other patreon creators based in NC while she was working for Durham Fruit to set up a collaborative creation day, and the 4 of us spent all morning and part of an afternoon there shooting all over the large warehouse space. This is the first set out of 6 that I have to share with you from this day! I had an absolute blast running around naked and creating with friends. I hope to do something like this again sometime!
