Traveling + creation on the horizon!

Hi friends!
So, I wanted to try something new, I am making this early, that’s not new, but I’m making this early, because I will be traveling for the first three weeks of August. and I’m excited!! But I also know that while I’m traveling, I probably will not be able to make a new blog post and stuff for y’all or post them because I don’t know what my internet access is going to be like, so I wanted to do a little bit of stuff in preparation for my trip, so that y’all still had things to enjoy from me while I’m gone + I don’t have to worry about like, “oh no, I need to do something now, but I don’t have internet.” So to alleviate my stress and to make sure that y’all still have fun things from me, I’m making some stuff early Yay! So I don’t have a super plan. I have some self portraits that I’ve taken that I haven’t shared anywhere yet and I haven’t even looked through all of them yet either if I can look through them and like, pick my favorites before my trip, I’m going to share those with you. Otherwise I might have to wait till after but we’ll see how much time I have and if I can look through them and share them before I leave or like at least schedule them.
So that’s a potential thing that I will be sharing, maybe. Yes, I actually took some self-portraits this year and I also thought it might be fun to share some photos and videos from shoots from my past to be like “hey if you’re new here, this is some stuff that I used to do” or like “this is what I used to look like before all the tattoos and the no hair. I looked different. So yeah, I am here to, I guess, just tell you expect some fun interesting things from me that I’m not sure what I’m going to share yet, but it’s going to be cool! I’m excited to share something with you even though I don’t know what it is yet! Yeah I’m excited! So right now today is I think July 22nd? or 23rd? 22nd?
Does it really matter exactly what day it is? It’s the second to last week of July, right now as I’m recording this. So I have a post coming out on the 24th which is this Saturday, which you’ll probably see this before this video comes out but I’m excited about that because I worked really hard on it and it’s about how queer nature is! Well it’s not even all the examples of how queer nature is but it’s a few examples to share with you. So I’m excited for that. August 1st is the virtual nude gathering for August, which…
Oh my, I’m sorry for dropping you. That was not supposed to happen. Okay, I think it’s because I had it leaned a lot because I was like, I don’t.. yeah, sorry, you fell. I already forgot what I was saying.
Oh yeah. The nature is queer post that’s coming out on 24th and then the virtual nude gathering is on August 1st. I’m not sure if you’ll see this before then or not so I’m mentioning it. I have a Blog that I made that I read a part of a book but I think I’m going to post that for the free part of my website. I wanted to post some stuff for just members because y’all are special and I love you and because you need all like I want to share all of the coolest things with you. But I also want to share a lot of cool things for free too because I think it’s important for people to have access to my content without having to pay for it. While also having extra awesome things for the people who do pay for it because the people who pay for it, which is you, are the reason that I am able to like, pay my rent and like have food and go on trips and take photos. So y’all are the reason I’m able to do any of this. So I just wanted to share my appreciation for you and let you know that I have some cool stuff coming up. I’m just not sure exactly what I’m going to share yet because I have a lot of options and it’s hard for me to pick, so yeah.
Also, I don’t know if you’ve seen, I have more color now! Can I show you that? So this one I got already last time… this I already had but all the stuff above my knee is new, can you see it? And then obviously we’re not done because there’s a lot more to go because *gestures at all the outlines not colored in yet* yeah, but… done 2 color sessions! I’m closer to being a tree in color!
Okay, yeah, I don’t want to make this too long and I would like to go and pick what I want to share with you, so I’m going to go do that. I love you! Thank you so much for being here! I actually might share a survey here so that you can let me know the kinds of things that you like the most, because that’s important for me to know and I would love to hear what yall are most interested in, so I’ll put a link to that in this blog post too so you can share with me whatever you want to see. Hi friends! So today I wanted to tell you about the photos that I took in the last couple of weeks. I actually had 2 photoshoots in the last few weeks + I’m very excited + happy with how the photos turned out!They were fun photoshoots, both outside, both with people I haven’t created with before, local to Charlotte, which was cool.
The first photoset I took was with Meredith at a nature preserve in the area + we found this really great rock that was heart shaped if you looked at it from higher up, so we took a bunch of photos on those + then some other places nearby. It was beautiful + wonderful + it was fun to hang out. Also there was sadly a lot of trash on the trail + that made me sad so I picked it up + threw it away. They had trashcans, + most of the trash was outside of the trashcan. I don’t know if there was a raccoon or something that got in there, but I put it back in the trash. Things like that, I’m just going to do it. So that was with Meredith, it was fun hanging out with her.
The next shoot that I had was with Rachel + she brought her little baby, 8 month baby I believe, Hendrix with her. He was super cute. We shot here in the back yard, right over there. My mom helped, she babysat off to the side, when we were shooting. They hung out on a blanket in the yard, + we were in the makeshift mini studio thing we put together. That was really fun, we did double exposures with Zion National Park. They all turned out so amazingly. At the end we did, maybe the last 5 or 6 photos, included the baby! The very last photo we took is the one of her kissing him + it’s my favorite of the whole roll.
Ok yeah that’s what I wanted to share with you, I’m excited to share them with you + I hope you like them as much as I do! I love you!

Virtual Nude Gathering + GBTL events + tattoo update!

Hi friends! It’s been a while since I’ve done a vlog so I wanted to come on here and say HI! Also the bird wants to say hi too, not sure what kind of bird that is, but hi! It’s so nice outside! I want to make this short because… lots of reasons, but I’ll make this short so… the main things I want to talk to you about are one: virtual nude gathering, the one for this month, er May, is coming up next weekend May 8th at 1pm EST, so if you want to join us, since you’re a member you get to join for free, all you have to do is use code BLMBR when you’re checking out to get your ticket on eventbrite. I’ll have all the links below and I’ll type up that code so you can just copy and paste or whatever you want to do.
I’m very excited, last month’s, or April’s nude gathering was the first one I opened up to the public and it was AMAZING! There were a dozen of us there and we were from all across the United States, we had people join us from the Netherlands, from Australia, from Germany, from Malaysia. It was amazing, I had a super great time and I got some really wonderful feedback from everyone and the majority of people were like “can we do this for longer next time?” so instead of an hour like last month we’re going to do an hour and a half for this month. So if you want to come, link is down there! Join us I’m so excited!
The other thing I wanted to talk about was I’ve been doing some updates to my website slowly, like incrementally and I’m really excited because I’m improving the way that all of this is working and everything is going to be looking fancier, so if you notice things are looking different than they used to be that’s because I’m doing updates. I’m really looking forward to spending time with you at the virtual nude gathering! And also, I don’t want to put too many links in here, but Going Beyond the Lens has 2 events every month, we have the art share coming up and the conversation event also. Last month’s events went really well, they were smaller than our usual events and we think that’s because the weather is getting warmer and people want to be outside instead of inside during the weekend on the computer doing an event. So I’d love to hear your feedback on that too if you’re someone who’s been to them and were like, had other things going on or yeah if you wanna see if we can do other dates and stuff. I don’t know, let me know! We’re open to changing things up to make it work for everyone so yeah.
Uhm what else? Those are the main big things. I’ll have links below for the art share and conversation event for Going Beyond the Lens. The topic this month is femininity so I’m kinda excited and also like… I don’t know, I won’t be presenting at this one because I don’t have a lot to say about… well maybe I do have a lot to say about femininity, but I presented at the last one and we’re taking turns presenting so it’s not all 3 of us presenting every time because that’s kind of unnecessary, especially since we have guest speakers for our conversation events which is wonderful. So yeahhh I’d love to hear your feedback, I hope you’ve been doing good. I’m just really glad that it’s finally getting warm.
Also! ALSO! My tattoo… all of this! I’m finally finished with all the linework for it. Alex finished up the linework last week on the 22nd and I absolutely love it. So I’ll show you the new stuff! I now have a little dragonfly, this is all new, this is new, this is new, and then the whole top of my back is new. Yayyyyy. So that means that next time we get to start on color!!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited yall! Alex is the same artist who did this tattoo, so yeah you know it’s going to be awesome because Alex is awesome and I’m super excited. Cover me in plants, I’m going to turn into a tree! Yay!
