    CAPTION FOR VIDEO ABOVE:

Hi hello! Earth Day was yesterday, and I spent a lot of my day outside and also looking at and watching videos and photos that I took on my big road trip last summer, so it was nice to connect with different parts of the earth in that way.

This week I’m sharing a photoset that I took of my friend Singingsiren44 (you can find them on instagram). ((In the video I said their pronouns are both her and them, I should have double checked first because they now only use they/them pronouns!))

We had only been following each other online and had never met in person, and when I was announcing where I was going on my trip they offered for me to stay with them so that was super wonderful and generous, and I really enjoyed spending time with them and I spent a few days there. One of the days we drove out to the Rocky Mountains and just found a place to park off the side of the road and ran into the woods and climbed down this hill and found a river and hung out next to it for a while and took photos all around in the woods and the rocks and the river. It was a really great day, and I took a bunch of photos of them doing self care out there. It was a really good time, I really enjoyed it, I made a new friend. We had never met and I thought it was pretty magickal that we got along so well and it was very generous for them to let me stay there, so I really appreciated that.

This week I have felt very slow and quiet and not very motivated to do very much. I think part of that is this new life that we’re living under quarantine, and part of it is probably also because I’m realizing that I need to give myself the space to do nothing. I have felt for a really long time that I have to constantly be doing things in order to be “productive” and “valuable” as a person. And that’s not true, I’m valuable as a person because I exist. So I’m trying to release as much of the internalized capitalism that’s within me as much as I can, and recognize that my value is not based on my productivity and that I don’t have to always be doing things, or know what the next thing is. At this point I’m kinda so in between where I was and where I want to be, and I don’t even know where I want to be yet, so I’m in this liminal space of knowing that I don’t want to stay where I was and moving toward something different, but I don’t know what my goals are, I don’t know where I’m heading toward or what the next step is. So, really the only thing for me to do is sit in it and feel it, and let whatever is supposed to come up, come up. Let my dreams make themselves known to me. That’s kinda hard because I’m a fire sign, I’m as Sagittarius (with a Virgo rising) so I feel like I need to do stuff, and be productive, and go on with my life and have a plan and work towards that goal and plan.

I’m in a place where I don’t have very many goals other than keeping up with my weekly computer stuff for yall and my twice a week live videos. I’m glad that I have those recurring obligations that I’ve created for myself to create something, and I’m just letting that be what I do right now. Since I’m not really sure what direction I want to go in, I feel like moving in any direction right now is kinda fruitless because it’s not with my whole heart, it’s just like I’m doing a thing because I feel like I have to do it. That’s not a heart centered, inspired thing to do. So life is complicated. I feel like I need to figure things out and I know that I can’t necessarily figure them all out at once.

I’m occupying my time with the Explore More Summit that’s going on right now. I’m watching at least one of those videos… almost every day. It’s a 10 day summit with therapists and educators, and so many people that I really value their thoughts and opinions on things. It’s been really nice to see what comes up in me when I watch these videos from other people. Maybe that will spark some inspiration for me. I’m trying to not be too frustrated with myself, allowing myself to get out of bed at noon, read a book, have breakfast, spend some time outside, not be “productive”. It’s hard, but I’m working on it, and I’m still getting my weekly necessary things done, so that’s nice. Balance is kinda hard for me to find, because I feel like, up until this point, and maybe even still, I haven’t really had that much balance, I’ve overworked myself for years and years, and maybe my frustration with slowing down and not being productive is a remnant of my internalized capitalistic bullshit that’s not really mine.

I appreciate yall being here, and spending this time with me every week, and caring about what I have to say, and supporting me through all the changes. I’m really excited for May 1st when I discontinue the photo membership and everybody that’s currently in photo memberships are going to be upgraded for video. Pretty excited about that, I’m excited to make memberships less complicated for everyone involved. Also, photo people are getting an upgrade so that’s cool. Upgrade for free, or the price you already pay for photo. That’s a super great deal and I’m really happy to be able to do that for yall. Especially since yall have been instrumental in me being able to live my life and still have a job during all of this. So I appreciate you so much. I look forward to spending time with you twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays. I don’t have a whole lot to say today, so I just wanted to say I love you!

I met Singingsiren44 through Instagram and met up with them in person in Denver Colorado during the first part of my cross country road trip this past summer. They were so generous and offered for me to stay for a couple of days in their apartment and during one of those days we took a day trip to the Rocky Mountains to spend some time in nature and take some photos. They drove til we found a spot off of the road that seemed like it would be a good place to explore, and it just so happened to be mountainous woods next to a river! We spent the better part of a morning and early afternoon there relaxing, talking, taking photos, and exploring the woods. I shot two rolls of them, this double exposure roll (doubled with the woods we were in!) and a regular roll, and we even made a creator interview video! I’ll be releasing that sometime soon. I shot most of the roll of just them, and then at the end of the roll I took some self portraits with them!

CURRENTLY: After the first of the year I’ve started going back on Instagram VERY sparingly, basically just to check my messages and look at only certain people’s pages to see what new stuff they’ve been sharing. Once I get the notification that I’ve been on there for an hour I shut it off and don’t go back on for at LEAST a day or more. I’m much happier with these stricter boundaries for social media, I want it to work for me, not me working for it. I still have some more figuring out to do in terms of finding out what boundaries work for me so that I can both be productive and share my work but also not spend much time on it. I still haven’t posted anything, and that’s okay.

Recently I’ve been making a few videos that are different from the videos I typically make, and I want to continue making videos of all kinds. Mostly for my website and youtube, even though I can’t share anything nude on youtube… it’s just this massive platform and I want people to be able to find me on there. Youtube is the second most used search engine in the world after Google, so it would be silly if I made videos and didn’t use it. You can subscribe to my channel here! I have 3 videos on there so far but I’ll be adding more, don’t worry. =]

I’m still in hibernation, and probably will be through February at least. I don’t plan on shooting or traveling until March or later. Yes, I have enough content that I’m still working on from 2019 that I don’t need to start shooting again for a while and also keep up with sharing new content with yall every week! It’s been really extremely nice to slow down and not have the stress of feeling like I’m constantly going and doing and accomplishing and and and…
If you have a chance to slow down, I highly recommend it. Especially during the winter when a lot of nature is also hibernating. It’s the natural time of the year to slow down and go within, so why not follow the cycles of nature? You are part of nature, after all. <3

When I was in Nashville in May I had the pleasure of spending a few days with Notrlygrace. You may remember the double exposure photoset I’ve already shared of her. This is the other roll I took of her, taken in the same location! We found this beautiful trail in Natchez Trace and spent a while relaxing and enjoying the view while we hung out naked and took photos. It was a wonderful day!

CURRENTLY: I’m getting this post ready super early again this week! Today is Monday Dec 30th and I’m posting this on Jan 4th. The next few days I’m really busy helping with inventory at the camera store I used to work at full time (I’m not on their schedule anymore, now I just help out occasionally) and then I’m going out of town again to visit family. My mom’s side of the family always gets together for the holidays on January 1st, so I probably won’t be doing a whole lot for new years because I want to get enough sleep! Look for new gallery passwords on the 2nd.

I changed the rewards for the All Access membership, and I’m really excited because I’m now offering a monthly video chat! If you’ve ever wanted to get an energy healing session from me, were curious about mentorship for photography and/or modeling, felt like you’d benefit from a peer support session about non monogamy or LGBTQIA+ topics, or just wanted to ask me a bunch of questions or chat about life, this is the perfect way to do that! Not only will you get a monthly video chat with me, you’ll get ALL of the perks from ALL of my other memberships! Wow! Click here for all the details!

As always, I’m available via email if you have any questions/comments/etc about membership or how to navigate my website or if you just want to say hello! I love hearing from yall and I’m here to help. <3  bunnyluna@pm.me

I appreciate every single one of you SO MUCH! I’ve wanted to be an independent artist for as long as I can remember and I’m literally living my dreams because of you!! =D

There’s a bunch of cute BTS stuff in the video folder!

  • Kara’s apartment with Bette Machete

I’ve already shared the images I took of Bette Machete in this location, now it’s time for me to share the photos she took of me! These photos were taken at our friend Kara Perry‘s apartment, and in a couple of the photos you can see her 3 legged pit bull Tank!
    CURRENTLY:
I’m scheduling this post wayyyy earlier than usual. I usually schedule Saturday’s stuff on Wednesdays, but I’m staying with someone who has wifi and I have NO IDEA where I’ll be in the next couple of days or what the wifi situation will be like, so I feel better getting this ready earlier rather than later.
I successfully drove from Charlotte NC to Denver CO! I left Friday morning at 7:30am (EST) and got to Denver yesterday/Sunday around 5pm (MT). I’ve been making daily mini vlogs about my travels, I’ll be sharing them to my free mailing list and in the member galleries. Sign up at bunnyluna.com if you’re not already getting emails from my mailing list, and make sure to add bunnyluna@pm.me to your email contacts so the email updates don’t go to your spam/junk folder!
I drove over 1500 miles in 3 days. Friday I drove to southern Illinois and stayed with my friend Tiffany Nacke (who is an amazing model and photographer!). Saturday I shot with Tiffany and we hung out until I left around 4pm, drove from southern Illinois to Topeka Kansas and stayed in my van. Sunday I drove from Topeka to Denver Colorado and stayed in my van. Tonight I’m staying at Singingsiren44‘s house (we’re shooting in the morning!), and I’m not sure what I’m doing after that. I’ll probably stay in Denver for another day, maybe two, before I head west again toward Utah. I’ll be in Utah by the time this posts.
