My Personal + Business Goals for 2022

Hey friends! Last week I talked about making goals and this week I want to share with you what goals I’ve come up with for myself. These will probably change over time and I will probably add to them and change them and things like that. So this is like a working list and it doesn’t include everything but it’s a start. So I wanted to share with you and it’s okay if I don’t have everything figured out because it’s only January and we have a whole year and things change and that’s like a part of life and that’s okay and there’s nothing wrong with that. So I feel like it’s better to have some goals than to not have any at all and even if they change that’s okay because like everyone changes and learns and grows over time, so starting off with some goals whether or not they’re like permanent forever goals, at least there’s a start and that’s something to work off of.
So, here are some of the goals that I came up with for myself. So, some personal goals that I have. I already talked to y’all about some of these, but I’m just going to go over all of them. So, personal goals. I want to journal every day. I want to do energy every day. I want to take a walk outside once a week or more. I really want to complete my tattoo or get closer to finishing it. I don’t know if that will be completed this year in 2022 just because of how much we have left. But at least continue that process to get closer to completing it. I want to connect more with friends. I want to like text my friends more, see them in person more, hang out with friends. Make more friends. I feel kind of lonely, so friend things, please yes.
I have several online courses that I’ve signed up for that I want to complete. So those are some more personal goals when I complete those e-courses and I want to read at least 10 books. I think last year I read eight or nine books. I think I actually read more, but the ones that I wrote down were eight or nine. And I don’t know if I wrote all of the books down that I read. So. Yeah, I’m going to actually keep track of that this year. What books I’ve read. So I want to read more books. And those are the start of my personal goals list, at least.
Business goals. So I like I said, I’ve kind of talked about some of this in the last video, but I’m going to review it a little bit. So business goals. I want to monetize my YouTube which means I need at least a thousand subscribers and at least 4,000 watch hours. So I’m going to plan to create one longer video a month. And at least one short every week in order to hopefully get closer to being able to monetize my YouTube channel.

I want to continue doing these Vlogs every week for my website, for y’all because I love you. So a goal is to do a vlog every week. I would like to increase my total income. So I have a like a dollar amount goal to work towards. Right now I’m just like, I want to have a fifteen hundred dollar a month because most months I’m like hovering around a thousand bucks, so my goal is to increase that.
I want to come up with one free thing to give to people every month. So whether that’s like a worksheet, a checklist, a video, like an online event, something just like one free thing for people every month because I feel like I don’t want to have everything behind a paywall. I want to be able to help people and I’m more able to help people if they have access to it for free. So, I want to make more free content.
I have been dreaming about making a self-portrait online course, for probably three or four years now and I still haven’t done it. So that’s a goal, is to like work towards that this year, is launching an online course. I want to teach and facilitate more workshops, so that’s another goal is to do at least one or two or three workshops, whether online or in person, this year. I would really like to do that.
I want to be on some people’s podcasts. I want to get my name out there that can be part of my, like, marketing strategy. Also podcasts are another way to get myself in front of more people. And also, a way to help more people if because, you know, hopefully the podcast that I’m on will be free. So another way to support people through what I know and the things that I can share. So I want to be on some podcasts.
Last year, I applied for I think two different residencies and I didn’t get either one, but I want to apply for more residencies because I would actually like to do a residency, an artist residency at some point. So I can only do that if I apply for them. So I have a goal of applying for residencies. And then I think I would really like to Mentor a queer artist like somebody who is just starting in the realm of art, photography, creativity. Since I’ve been doing this for over 10 years I have a lot of knowledge that I can share, so I would like to mentor a queer artist, so that will be another goal of mine.
Yeah, okay. So those are some of my goals for 2022. I probably am going to update and change these overtime but that’s at least a start. And so, now that I have this list, I know what I can work towards and what things that I need to do on a more regular basis in order to meet those goals.
Yeah, goals are kind of hard and also awesome at the same time. I am the kind of person, I’m kind of a perfectionist and I… a lot of the time I struggle with not starting something because I want to do it perfectly, so I just don’t start it at all because I’m scared of failing. So I just don’t do it. And if I think about it, if I don’t start at all, that’s immediately a failure. So I’m like… I’m failing myself before I even start, so I want to not do that.
And I want to actually, I want to fail. I want to fail some. I want to get some nos. I want to like… I want to apply for things and have people reject me because that’s the only way that I’m going to get over this, is if I actually do it and get rejected and be like, okay, I’ve learned something. Now I can work on something else and continue to get better. So yeah, maybe another goal is to fail some because I need practice with that, because it’s better to fail and learn something than to not try at all.
And I’m still learning this for myself, but I wanted to share with you a lot of these things that I share that are like, inspirational and helpful and things like that. It’s also for me because I need help too. And sometimes I need to just listen to my own videos so that I can help myself. So yeah, okay.

Goals vs Resolutions: Brainstorming Personal + Business Goals

Hello friends! Today I wanted to talk about goals and I feel like that’s probably something that a lot of people talk about at the beginning of the year because a lot of people have resolutions and things like that, but I want to talk about why I do goals instead of resolutions. So let’s dive in.
I feel like… I feel like resolutions are maybe not super supportive to people sometimes because there’s this expectation of like I’m a set a resolution and I’m going to do this thing every X amount of time. And if I don’t follow through this resolution, for the whole year then I’m a failure or, you know, like, it doesn’t mean anything, if I didn’t do it the whole year, or if I didn’t meet, whatever that resolution was.
To me goals feel a little different because they feel like this larger thing at the end of a certain amount of time that you kind of break down into smaller pieces and work towards throughout time like throughout days weeks, months years. And that feels less, it feels like less pressure and it feels like a more consistent like way to meet that goal. Because for me, if it’s a resolution, it’s like I’m going to do X thing every day, or I’m gonna I don’t know. What are some resolutions? And goals, feel more like, oh, there’s this thing that I want to achieve. So, how can I break that into a lot of smaller pieces so I can work on it a little by little throughout time like throughout whatever the time frame is.
Goals, just feel more achievable than resolutions to me. Also, I feel like… I feel like I have, maybe… How do I say this? I have had goals in the past and I have met them or mostly met them. And I’m at a point right now that I don’t know what my next goals are. So I feel kind of lost. Because the goals that I had, I’ve like, I’ve met the goals, like, my largest goal that I’ve had recently is to, like, get a van and go on a road trip, and I did that. I got a van in 2018, and I went on my cross-country road trip in 2019. And if you’ve been here any amount of time, you’ll know a lot of things happened in 2019 for me and my life kind of like broke apart and then came back together in a different way, and I feel like right now, I don’t know what goals I have and that is kind of frustrating and scary and I kind of feel like I’m floating. You know, I’m just like a blob floating in space with no purpose. So, it’s weird when I’ve met my goals and then I’m not sure where to go next.
So I feel like, maybe if I made goals, they would either be too big or too small, but I also feel like Is this my perfectionism getting in my own way? Like I feel like I’m getting in my own way. So I wanted to talk about…. I’m kind of just going to brainstorm here in this vlog right now, about my goals for 2022. For this year. Because, I feel like I’ll feel better if I have goals to work towards. So I’m not just like aimlessly like what am I going to do? Let me just figure it out for today. And then tomorrow have to be like, what am I going to do? Let me figure it out for today. Like I feel aimless. So I’m going to brainstorm some goals right now, and I’m going to grab some paper so I can joy some stuff down also because I need some goals. So if you want to also come up with some goals, grab some paper and pen and let’s do this together. So, I’m gonna…. I’ve kind of brainstormed about goals a little bit already. So, I’m going to kind of separate it into personal goals and business goals. And I feel like the personal goals might be the easier ones, but that’s just me. Okay, so personal goals. Oh, my pen is running out of ink.
Personal goals and business goals.
All right, I already had some stuff written up here. So ignore this but I’m just doing like personal and business and I’m just going to make a list because I love lists and lists help me a lot. So yeah list, I’m gonna start with personal because that feels easier.
So personal goal. I also am going to set myself up for success because I know that if there’s something on there that I know, for sure that I 100% can do, then I’ll feel better because like I’ll have a goal that I know that I can meet. So I’m going to like start off with something that I know I can do to kind of like get the ball rolling. So I’ve already been journaling every day since January of 2020. So I’m going to continue to do that. So my goal is to journal every day in 2022 because I know that I can meet that because I already met it last year and most of 2020. So I’m going to do that, journal every day.
Still on personal goals. I’m gonna also continue to set myself up for success and do a couple more things that I know that I can do everyday or consistently, at least if not every day, just so that I know that I have goals that I can meet, and that way at the end of the year, if I look through my goals and I’m like, wow, there’s something I didn’t meet, but I’ll at least have some that I did meet that way. It doesn’t feel like you know, I’m a failure… because I know that I’m not. It’s okay to not meet your goals, that’s just like more things you can work towards.
So another goal that I’m going to do for 2022 is to do Energy Medicine, energy healing on myself every day. Which I’ve already been doing almost every day for probably at least a year. So, I know that I can do that. Another personal goal that I’ve been thinking about is walking outside on a regular basis. So I’m going to say once a week, just because I know that like sometimes weather and responsibilities and other things can keep me from being outside, but I really want to be outside. So I’m going to say, take a walk outside every week. Walk outside every week and then if I do it more than once a week, that’s even better, but I least I’m going to do at least once a week.
Okay, so that’s just that’s like three personal goals. I’m going to start on a couple of business goals. I really would like to monetize my YouTube channel. So that requires at least 1000 subscribers and 4,000 plus watching hours over a period of 12 months. So that itself, like to monetize my YouTube channel, can be a business goal is to get at least 1000 subscribers and over 4,000 watching hours.
So monetize YouTube, which means 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours. So, If I want to do that, that also means I need to make more videos and share more videos on YouTube. So, maybe I will do… Maybe my goal can be like one video. A week. Or month, see I don’t want to, I don’t want to make it too frequent if it’s not something that I can do. I do want to challenge myself, but I also don’t want to put like huge amounts of pressure on myself to do things if I can’t do them. So let’s say I’m going to do I want to try to do at least one longer video a month and one short every week. So that way I at least have some content going up every week. Even if it’s not a long video and I think shorts have been really popular on YouTube. So yeah, I want to do more of those because I posted a short and then like two days later I had 800 views and I was my second most viewed video ever, so I’m going to keep doing that. Okay, so that’s like the main business goal is monetize YouTube. And then there’s some smaller goals underneath that in order to work towards monetizing, the YouTube.
I want to continue doing Vlogs for y’all every week, so that can be another goal as a member like, website vlog every week. I already have like a list of potential topics to talk about, so I’m going to continue using that but also I’m going to put a survey below, so if there’s anything in particular you want to hear from me, let me know and I’ll try to make it. This video is getting a little long and I want to spend some more time brainstorming goals, so I’m going to sign off of this video and continue thinking about goals and maybe in the next video I’ll go through the whole list of goals with you. Goals that are achievable, but are also, at least slightly challenging so you feel accomplished but not too challenging that you don’t do them because it just feels bad to make a goal then not succeed.

Joshua Tree Pool with June St Paul

Hello friends! Okay so this week I’m sharing a photoset of me that was taken last summer, or not last summer, I keep wanting to say last summer. Summer 2019 during my cross country road trip, this photoset was taken outside of Joshua Tree at an amazing airbnb. I met up with June St Paul… let’s see if I can get this to be still right here. Oop be still! I met up with June St Paul and we took some photos of each other and it was a fun time. There was this really amazing pool that had just finished being built at this airbnb we were at, so of course we took advantage of hanging out at the pool. The airbnb owner, his name is Tao Ruspoli, he’s in the like, film movie world and apparently knows a bunch of famous people, I guess he also is famous in some capacity, whatever famous means. But he has this like, compound kind of area right outside of Joshua Tree in the desert, kinda in the mountains… sortof? Kinda like a mountain area. He has old small schoolbuses that he’s converted into bedrooms and airstreams that you can rent out and he has a boat, like a sailboat next to his house that you could get in and walk around and do things, I had a photoshoot in there with Moss Von Faustenberg and a couple of other folks, that was really cool. I’ll eventually be sharing those too. But yeah it’s just this huge area that was really beautiful and had all these cool building type places and the place that I stayed at was a mini bus, one of those short buses, that was converted into a bedroom so there’s just this big bed in there and it was real cozy. So that was a fun part of my trip, so these are photos of me next to the really cool pool. I think we were one of the first people to swim in it, or in the first handful of people to swim in it because it had just finished being built. It was really beautiful, the way he planned the space was that, it’s this big long and narrow pool and he has it facing a certain mountain range that’s off in the distance and at sunset the sunset is over those mountains and the pool points straight to it and it’s really beautiful. As I was there he was starting construction on additional building things for his airbnb. He was putting in this really huge long narrow kinda similar to the pool but it was a table instead, like a giant table you’d sit at to eat a family dinner, really long and narrow. So you have the pool here, and he put the table in line with the pool but 50-100 feet away. So you’ve got this table that points to the pool and the pool that points to the mountains that points to when sunset is, it’s really beautiful. He has a couple of Joshua Trees on his property so yeah, it was a fun time. Uhmmm I hadn’t seen June in a while, so it was nice to catch up. We have a… insteresting history… uh.. interesting connection, I’m not going to go too into that because reasons.
Today, well, yesterday, I started some of the energy healing 101 video that I’ve been wanting to make. I’ve been brainstorming it for a while and I actually recorded some stuff for it yesterday. I may or may not record more for it, I know I have a lot of editing to do which is the part that I’m kindof dreading because it’s something that I’m not as good at yet so it takes me a really long time and I’m not the kind of person that likes to sit on my computer or phone for an extended amount of time. I’d rather be outside not looking at screens. I’m excited to share this energy healing information with people, because I know that each of us has the ability to heal, it’s just a matter of finding what works for you personally. What works for you as a person isn’t going to work for everyone, and what works for someone else may not necessarily work for you. So I think it’s important to share a lot of different ways that we can help ourselves, because maybe some of those ways will resonate and some wont, but as long as something works for you that’s all that really matters. So yeah I’m kinda excited about that. I have a lot of video editing work to do, but hopefully in the next little while I’ll be sharing an energy healing 101 video with you, yay!
I don’t have much else to talk about today, ummm yeah. Self Portraits with Jenovax Lilith & Lucia Brea Quinn

Hello friends! I brought notes because I didn’t remember this morning what I had planned to share for this weekend so, I have notes. Hello! It’s raining here today which is why I’m inside because I’m usually outside and I prefer to be outside but…
I just got a massive tattoo started yesterday and I don’t want to walk too much because it’s like half of my left leg. I can probably show you. I’ve been wearing this skirt which is not super me but it helps me to not have tight things on my tattoo which is sore, obviously because I just got it yesterday. Yesterday which was Wednesday because today is Thursday and I always do these Thursdays, almost always, before the Saturday thing.
So… it’s massive and it’s most of my leg. I’ve got a hawk right here, it’s a Poplar tree, and I have a little froggie down there at the bottom, little frog. So it’s like basically most of my leg. It has saniderm on it and it’s bleeding a little bit and also, what’s the word I’m looking for, sweating out some of the ink still which is why it’s shiny and blurry looking because it’s some ink coming out. I just got this yesterday and I’m so happy about it! It’s so big. I love it a lot. It’s eventually going to continue up my side and go across my chest and the top of my back and then down this arm so it’s going to be like half of my body. I’m so excited! Cover me with plants! So that’s the new thing that’s happened for me recently, basically is getting this tattoo that I’ve been dreaming about for probably a year. It’s going to be quite a while in process because it’s so huge and we haven’t even finished all the outlining because there’s still a lot to go, but I’m really excited and I love it already. So I’m taking it easy for the next couple of days and not moving a lot and probably elevating my leg, and not moving and walking around too much.
Yeah so this weekend I’m sharing with you, okay so the photo and video and pay what you can people are getting access to the self portraits that I took with Jenovax Lilith & Lucia Brea Quinn I think I took these in like 2017 or something. These are photos that I randomly found that I somehow haven’t shared with you yet, so that’s fun. It’s from several years ago but I really like them, they’re self portraits that I took of us together. For video, that I’m sharing with yall, everybody… yeah all patrons have access to all the stuff I’m talking about. For the video I’m sharing… oh yeah! There’s 11 family vacation videos from when I was in Tennessee with my dad’s side of the family in 2018 that I’m sharing. I’m excited about that, they’re cool and fun, just hanging out at the cabin that we got and we did some hikes and stuff together so you get some videos of that. I have a nude yoga video to share with you that’s not the usual nude yoga video that I’ve been doing in the past. This one is with my mom and we’re doing energy medicine yoga and I believe you can hear my mom cueing us in this video so if you want to do it with us you can. I will be doing some of this, actually, I’ve already told you about the event I’m doing this weekend, which is the Body Language event with Going Beyond the Lens. I’m going to be leading our somatic exercise, I’m going to be leading us through the Wake Up, which is an energy medicine yoga sequence. I’m excited about that and you can do that with us and you can do more because there’s more than just the wake up in this video that’s me and my mom nude in the back yard doing energy medicine yoga!
For first look patrons/members/people I have another photoset from Goblin Valley to share with you. I loved Goblin Valley it was so cool, and the BTS videos from that too. I think I still have a couple of sets from Goblin Valley to share. Yeah I just have so much, like I have plans through Halloween of the photosets I’m going to share with you. I know I still have more, I have enough to continue sharing photosets with you after that as well, that’s just all I have planned. I’ve barely created anything this year, but I think the backlog that I have is enough to get us through at least a few more months of weekly content, so you don’t have to worry about “oh Bunny won’t have anything new to share.” I still have new stuff, well it’s not really “new” but I have a tendency to hoard content for some reason. But I will have new content to share with yall for a few months at least.
My shifting in what I want to do here is going to go more towards videos and healing type of things like energy medicine and meditation and nature videos and stuff like that. It’s what I’m really called to do more lately. I haven’t really done a whole lot as of right now because I’ve got other things going on in other places, but I do have some ideas and things I’ve started for what I want to do.
I don’t know, all of this like… everything’s changing in my world and continually forever changing like always. I just really appreciate that yall are here with me and spending time with me and supporting me and allowing me to have this as my life which is such a gift. I feel like so much more free than I ever have with any other job. And I don’t know if I would even… like… I guess I would say this is my job, if someone asked me I would say I’m a self employed artist, but I don’t know… making nude content or making nature videos and stuff like that doesn’t really feel like work very much to me, it’s just stuff I enjoy doing. Yall are the reason why I get to do it, so that’s really exciting. Yeah, I know that things are going to continue to change for me, and that also means the things on my website will continue to change. I just appreciate that yall are here and I’m excited to share all the things with you, whatever it ends up being! So I hope you enjoy all the stuff I’m sharing this week and I’ll talk to you next week! Mwah!

Doubles with Tiffany Helms

Hello good morning! Well, morning for you when you see this maybe, it’s not really morning here anymore. I’m really excited about this photoset that I’m sharing with you this week. I took it on my cross country road trip last year like most of the other sets I’ve been sharing recently and will continue to share because I took SO MUCH last year. I have a huge backlog and I’m really glad because I haven’t really made much this year at all and it’s already September.
This photoset that I took last year on my cross country road trip is of a model that I’ve worked with 2 or 3 times before, Tiffany Helms, who is super awesome. I shared a photoset with yall recently of single exposures I took of her, and these are the double exposures that I took. Of course I’m really excited about them because doubles. We took these on Bainbridge Island where she lives outside of Seattle. What all do I want to say about this set? The singles that we took, we took before we took these doubles. We took all the doubles at a second location. The first location was that really cool abandoned spot that I shared with yall recently. This other location wasn’t super far away but we did drive to get to the trailhead for it. It was pretty awesome because there were like… what were they called? There was wild… food of some kind that I’m having trouble… was it blackberries? Was it… NO it was wild cherries! There were wild cherries on the trail that we were snacking on that was so awesome and it was great. On the way to this place where we shot. I don’t exactly know what part of the island we were on? I didn’t.. I wasn’t the driver during this shoot. Tiffany’s partner Jeff Waters was the driver for us and our assistant/lookout. We went to this place that was right next to the water and there was another abandoned building that was different than the abandoned building we previously had been to. We didn’t shoot inside of it but we shot next to and around it. I was most excited about the water and the beachy area because it looked beautiful so we have a lot of photos from that place. I hope my neighbor doing their grass isn’t too loud. I’m gonna get closer so you can hear me better. So yeah it was super fun, I had a good time. Oh yay maybe they’re done! Yeah… it was super awesome. I did the doubles a little bit differently than I usually do… or recently have done. Usually I’ll shoot a whole roll (I mean I kinda did it the same way, but) rewind it, and shoot over it again. Usually the first set of images is all just background images like landscapes and the second set of images I shoot are usually with the model. For these photos I was pretty excited with what we were creating and I actually shot a whole roll of Tiffany, portrait, like closer up mostly of her face. Then I rewound the roll and shot over it all over again with further away, with her more in the landscape. I think they turned out super amazing and I’m very excited about how they look.
I usually did that kind of double where I would double the person in there twice, I usually did that with my medium format camera in the past. I’ve been having some technical issues with that camera for over a year and it’s discouraged me and I haven’t really been using it because of the technical issues. I think I really just need some new batteries, but it takes like 4 batteries. Or 8 or 6? It takes a lot of batteries so I haven’t really shot with my medium format camera in a while. These images I took with 35mm and I haven’t done doubles this way in a long time. I’m very excited and happy with how they turned out, I think they’re incredible. Tiffany is always really easy to work with, she’s a model and photographer so she basically… just tell her your idea and she runs with it. She doesn’t ever really need much direction because she’s excellent at posing, she is one of my pose inspirations. She’s really creative and bendy and I love her funky poses that she sometimes does. I’m really happy with how these turned out. I have the whole photoset to share with you and the BTS video, so look for that! All members have access to all of that.
The first look members I have another photoset that’s self portraits that I took in Utah last summer that I’m sharing with first look. I’m sure you’ll love them, I love them a lot. They were also taken outside of Moab outside of Canyonlands. I’m pretty sure that’s where this set was taken. Yeah, similar to the other sets I’ve shared recently, I took a lot of sets off the side of the road basically. Beacuse the whole place, Utah itself is just fucking gorgeous. The whole state basically, the parts that I’ve been to, Southern Utah, the WHOLE of Southern Utah is very photogenic as you can see in my photos. I’m excited to share all that with you.
In terms of personal stuff recently, I’ve been working with Lior Allay and Roarie Yum on our going behind the scenes, no, going behind the le… why am I tongue tied right now? Probably because I was just on a 4.5 hour video call. GOING BEYOND THE LENS, our project community group, we’ve been working on getting ready for our next event which is Saturday the 19th at 1pm eastern if you want to join, it’ll be about BODY LANGUAGE. I’m pretty excited about this because I think I will also incorporate a little bit of energy medicine in this because it totally relates, because it’s our body. I’m excited about that, it’s something we’re working on. The invitation email went out today, which is Thursday, so if you’re on that list you’ll have already received it by the time this video is released. We’ve been talking about future plans and goals and I’m pretty excited about the stuff we’re working on. I’m so thankful that they’re working with me, both of them, because I greatly admire them and look up to them and really super appreciate all of the things that they have to offer, and the way they move about the world. I just.. they’re both incredible people and I’m so thankful to be able to work with them. It’s been a labor of love creating this community together and figuring out what works best for us and what we need to shift and update. It comes with its own challenges but it’s been incredible and I’m so thankful for everything we’ve been able to do so far and I’m very excited for what will come in the future. We have lots of ideas and I know that time will be needed in order to get to all the things we wanna do. I’m just… we have big plans and dreams and I’m so excited to share it with yall whenever those things actually happen. For now you can join us basically every month for a free event.

That’s all I have to say for today. As you can tell I’m in a better mood right now than I probably was in the last couple videos. I’ve been doing energy medicine yoga pretty much every day for over a week and it has helped tremendously with my feels, my emotions, my stress. I think your September nude yoga video, I think it’s gonna be EM yoga, energy medicine yoga, and I think my mom will join me for it. So… look for that! Coming soon!
