Reasons I love Discord as a nude artist

Hello! Okay, it’s morning here. I hope you’re having a good morning wherever you are. If it’s not morning, I still wish you good morning.
Kind of continuing this nude theme that I’ve been talking about for a while. I want to talk about being a nude artist and sharing my work online and why I love Discord so much!
Okay. So as a nude artist, you’ve probably witnessed or heard that it’s really hard to be a nude artist on the internet, currently in 2022. Well, it’s been hard to be a nude artist on the internet for a long time, but it’s yeah, it’s hard out here. There’s so many times when me or people that I know have been deleted off of social media platforms just out of the blue, lost everything. Because oh oops we shared one too many nipples, or we didn’t censor something quite enough or even if we censored everything they still decide it’s too risque, too naked, you can’t be here. So yeah I’m not on social media anymore because of that and many other reasons.
I love Discord. And I’m going to show you a bunch of reasons why I love Discord, especially as a nude artist. Okay. So number one reason that I love Discord right now is because I can share nude and not-safe-for-work content without being afraid of being deleted off of my account. Such a big deal. I don’t have to put… I don’t have to censor my work. I can just post it and not have to worry because Discord is awesome. I do have to post it in a section that’s specifically for not safe for work content. But that’s easy. I’m totally cool with like labeling my work as either safe for work or not safe for work. Like that’s totally fine. I understand that. I would love to do that. If I could do that on everything, I would. So yeah, Discord is awesome.
You can create public and private servers on Discord. So that way you can have a little bit more control over if like the whole public of everyone can see your posts or if just like a select group of people that you trust and want to share your work with can see your posts.
On Discord, there’s voice and video chats, which is really fun, because then you can actually like, hang out live with people on Discord and, like, share your screen. You can like stream movies and TV shows if you want. You can have events. I’d have a bunch of people, join and watch and share. So I really like that part of Discord, the voice and video chats are fun. Also, you can be naked if you want to.
I really like that Discord has Bots to help me moderate and like, maybe have… like because there are Bots where you can play games with bots on your server. Like Discord is just awesome.
You can share text, you can share videos, you can share photos, you can share links, you can share all kinds of stuff on Discord, not just one kind of media. And then, another cool thing about Discord is there are a whole lot of servers. There’s like a group / server on Discord for just about everything. If you just Google “discord server” and then the thing that you’re looking for like, oh, I like bugs or I like plants or I like art or I like TV show…. I don’t know like Discord server and blank if you search for that, there’s probably a server for the thing that you’re interested in.
So yeah, Discord is huge and has a lot of capabilities of things you can do and it’s nude friendly. And yeah, come hang out with me on my server. I do events on a semi-regular basis. Usually, at least once a month, like I’m about to dye my pubic hair blue and I’m gonna live stream it on my Discord server. It will have already happened by the time this video comes out. But yeah, I’m excited. So yeah, Discord’s great, come hang out with me. There’s a whole bunch of reasons why I like it. And a whole bunch of reasons why it feels like a much safer place for people who who make a nude art because we can actually like, post it without being censored without having to worry about being deleted or banned or shadowbanned. Virtual Nude Gathering + GBTL events + tattoo update!

Hi friends! It’s been a while since I’ve done a vlog so I wanted to come on here and say HI! Also the bird wants to say hi too, not sure what kind of bird that is, but hi! It’s so nice outside! I want to make this short because… lots of reasons, but I’ll make this short so… the main things I want to talk to you about are one: virtual nude gathering, the one for this month, er May, is coming up next weekend May 8th at 1pm EST, so if you want to join us, since you’re a member you get to join for free, all you have to do is use code BLMBR when you’re checking out to get your ticket on eventbrite. I’m very excited, last month’s, or April’s nude gathering was the first one I opened up to the public and it was AMAZING! There were a dozen of us there and we were from all across the United States, we had people join us from the Netherlands, from Australia, from Germany, from Malaysia. It was amazing, I had a super great time and I got some really wonderful feedback from everyone and the majority of people were like “can we do this for longer next time?” so instead of an hour like last month we’re going to do an hour and a half for this month. The other thing I wanted to talk about was I’ve been doing some updates to my website slowly, like incrementally and I’m really excited because I’m improving the way that all of this is working and everything is going to be looking fancier, so if you notice things are looking different than they used to be that’s because I’m doing updates. I’m really looking forward to spending time with you at the virtual nude gathering! And also, I don’t want to put too many links in here, but Going Beyond the Lens has 2 events every month, we have the art share coming up and the conversation event also. Last month’s events went really well, they were smaller than our usual events and we think that’s because the weather is getting warmer and people want to be outside instead of inside during the weekend on the computer doing an event. So I’d love to hear your feedback on that too if you’re someone who’s been to them and were like, had other things going on or yeah if you wanna see if we can do other dates and stuff. I don’t know, let me know! We’re open to changing things up to make it work for everyone so yeah.

The topic this month is femininity so I’m kinda excited and also like… I don’t know, I won’t be presenting at this one because I don’t have a lot to say about… well maybe I do have a lot to say about femininity, but I presented at the last one and we’re taking turns presenting so it’s not all 3 of us presenting every time because that’s kind of unnecessary, especially since we have guest speakers for our conversation events which is wonderful. So yeahhh I’d love to hear your feedback, I hope you’ve been doing good. I’m just really glad that it’s finally getting warm.
Also! ALSO! My tattoo… all of this! I’m finally finished with all the linework for it. Alex finished up the linework last week on the 22nd and I absolutely love it. So I’ll show you the new stuff! I now have a little dragonfly, this is all new, this is new, this is new, and then the whole top of my back is new. Yayyyyy. So that means that next time we get to start on color!!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited yall! Alex is the same artist who did this tattoo, so yeah you know it’s going to be awesome because Alex is awesome and I’m super excited. Cover me in plants, I’m going to turn into a tree! Yay!

Hello friends! Welcome to another vlog post. I have a whole list of things right here that I want to talk about and I’m going to try to not ramble too much so it’s not too long of a video and/or post. Welcome to the 2nd and last mass upload for my archives! I have 11 photosets and 18 video folders that are now accessible to all members! So yeah this is officially the… now I have no set schedule for these blog posts, for new content coming out in terms of photos and videos for members. (EDIT AFTER RECORDING: This also includes the “weekly free posts” that I was sharing from my old blog archive.) Sooo… I wanted to be abundantly clear about the changes that have been happening and are continuing to happen, what’s going on.
Okay so, literally thousands of things for you to look at whenever you want. Archives are massive. The new things are… I’ll be doing a virtual nude gathering every month, starting, well I already started it because I had one last weekend which was awesome! Thank you to those of you who came. Virtual nude gatherings, I’ve decided in order for more people to be able to have access to these really awesome experiences of being naked in community together in a non sexual setting that’s just fun and we connect to each other and we also connect to our own bodies in embodied physical reality kind of way, even though we’re on the internet and screens with each other, I think it’s really special and I want to make sure that more people are able to experience that. I’ll be opening them up, starting next month in April, to the public, but members will always get free tickets! Public tickets, there’s a range of prices, I’m doing sliding scale and offering some free tickets to non-members also, but members of course always get free tickets. Going Beyond the Lens is a creative community that I’ve cofounded with Lior Allay + Roarie Yum, and we host monthly art shares, which are available free for everyone, whoever wants to come can come. The community submits their artwork to us and we all hang out and admire it together and talk about what we love about it and we hear the story of the artist who created it and their process and behind the scenes of that and it’s a really special time and I super love it so please come! Then also next weekend for Going Beyond the Lens, which is Sunday the 28th we have the community conversation. Oh I should tell you the theme! This month the theme is NUDITY so the art share and the community conversation are both going to be centered around NUDITY! Yay naked! So I’m excited. The conversation, we have several questions that are listed in the conversation eventbrite link which I’ll also link below, the questions are in there, we have everyone, when they sign up, if they want to answer the questions… it’s about art and nudity and how you think about nudity. So if you want to answer the questions, that’s great so then we have more material to talk about during the conversation. We mainly go over these questions but they’re kindof like conversation starters, we definitely continue the conversation in a lot more depth in the actual conversation space than what you type in your answer when you sign up. It’s really special and we really dive into the topic. I always learn something, I just love hearing everyones different perspective and the way they think about the world and the things they’ve learned and I’ve learned so much, it’s really wonderful! If you want to be in creative community with an accepting and loving group of people, join us! So today, Saturday the 20th at 1pm is the art share. Okay so those are all the really main things. I also want to talk about future plans. So going into the future from right now, okay so right now, the things that you as members will receive from me on a monthly basis are: nude gatherings! We get to hang out “in person” and spend time together naked! Uhm that’s really special, so we get to do that, yall get in for free!
I’m going to start uhm I don’t know if I’ll do it in April but at some point soon, I’ll do it surely before like… lemme give myself a deadline to do it because if I don’t I don’t want to string yall along, so by June I’ll start putting out workbooks or videos or how-to things or resources around 4 topics that I’ll center my life online around, in terms of the things that I provide for other people. I in the past have been doing model/photographer things for a really long time, like 10 years, longer than 10 years, and I’m shifting gears from that world to self love, creativity (which is through Going Beyond the Lens), ecosexuality and queerness in general. Self love is big and encompasses all of those, and they kindof all work together, but those are the 4 main things that I’m going to focus on. I’m going to be creating resources and information and videos and there’s a ton of things I have ideas about, so resources in general. I’m going to be creating and offering a lot of them for free, so of course yall can have them too because they’re going to be free for everybody. Everything that I make yall will have access to first, and also can give feedback if you wanna tell me what your thoughts are, that would be super cool! And… so yeah resources of the queer, self love, ecosexuality, creative type, which you can also find resources for GBTL. I feel like I’m being all over the place, I’m sorry, that’s just how I feel today I guess, I hope it’s not too confusing.
So in addition to all of that, yall already have archive access to my 10+ years of photography and modeling so enjoy that, tons of nude… all the fun things, shenanigans, hangouts, all the things, behind the scenes, interviews, nature videos, me doing aerial, there’s a shit ton of stuff in there, but it’s mostly photography of… my work of other people. It’s also photography of people taking photos of me, from when I used to model and I don’t really anymore. It’s kindof fun to not model right now. So in addition to your archive access, another thing yall get is the satisfaction of knowing that literally as a member you are the reason that I can provide resources for self love and creativity and ecosexuality and queerness for free to the public because yall are the reason I can do any of this, literally. You’re the reason I do it, and you make it happen with your support, and it means so much and I am so excited to go into this new and kindof scary but very exciting direction for myself. Rebranding of my website is coming soon, I don’t have a time on that yet, but we’re like… Lior is actually working with me for branding and I am so excited. So yeah my website will be changing a lot soon, it’s going to be even more awesome than it already is. Don’t worry, you’re still going to have access to the archives and all of the member things.
Yeah I just wanted to let you know that I’ll have no set schedule or regularity that I will be posting vlogs like this and new photosets and whatever (EDIT AFTER RECORDING: This also includes the “weekly free posts” that I was sharing from my old blog archive.), but when things are happening, you’ll know first. Since I have the immense pleasure of creating that community of 2 other amazing artists, that’s the creativity aspect of my 4 main things that I’m going to be focusing on. Creativity is for GBTL and the 3 others are my personal, “yeah let’s get queer ecosexual self love!” Well, self love really goes for GBTL too, but *smile*
Okay I feel like I’ve talked a mile a minute and it’s been a really long video and I’ve told you so many things, I hope it hasn’t been overwhelming. Olympia with Mandy Darling

Hi friends! This is the second to last week of these weekly posts! Holy cow! It’s already like… wow February is flying. This week I’ll be sharing a photoset that’s kinda like a mixed photoset of several mediums. I think it’s digital, 35mm, medium format, and polaroid, I think? from Mandy Darling photographing me when I was in Olympia during my cross country road trip in 2019. Yeah I told you I have a whole lot from that trip I’m still posting, and this is not all of it, you’re gonna see a lot more when I do that mass upload in March. But for now, here’s a bunch of photos that Mandy Darling took of me, this was outside of her parent’s house in Olympia I believe? It was her parent’s house, it was a really beautiful place full of gardens and surrounded by woods and it was beautiful. I had a really great time so I hope you enjoy these photos. I don’t have BTS video, but the video from this week I’m sharing is actually a pretty fun video that I made in the spring of 2020. It’s multiple videos, I think it’s like 8 videos. In the spring of 2020 I took a walk in the woods that are behind my house to go to the ponds that are in my neighborhood, there’s a couple of little secret ponds hidden in the woods so it was me taking a walk in the woods and bringing you with me. Some of my favorite parts of this video are when I see little tiny frogs in the grass, there were so many tiny frogs this spring, it was so cute, I’m really excited to see them again. I think there’s a couple of moments when I’m searching for frogs and you can see how cute and tiny they are. So yeah just hanging out in the woods and taking you with me so I hope you enjoy that.
First look people, I will be sharing the double exposures that I took of Lior Allay during the Backstage Pass event for Going Beyond the Lens that was in December of 2020. It was so great, they were so amazing. I did doubles of them during this event and people that were at the event helped… what’s the word? helped direct Lior for some of the poses. So the last I think 6 poses of theirs that you see were directed by people that were at the event, so that was super fun and exciting, I really loved it. It was really enjoyable to create together as a group. I had never experienced anything like that and it was amazing. These doubles were taken with the photos of Bryce Canyon that I took during my cross country road trip. I hope you enjoy all of those.
If you are new here I’ll give you a recap of what is happening very soon. February I’ll do weekly posts like this through the end of February, so after this week there’s one more week of these weekly posts, and then starting in March I’ll be doing monthly members-only hangout gathering virtual live “in person” events, and you’ll also be able to get free admission to some of the paid events that I’ll be participating in or leading that are outside of just members only, they’re also for the public but they have to pay, but members will get to be in there for free. That and I will be in March also mass uploading everything from first look and my backlog which first look hasn’t even seen yet because I have so much content. I’m a little nervous about it because it’s a big change, I’ve been doing for the most part ish, weekly posts like this, since 2016 or 2017, so this is a big major change. I’m really excited about it because it’s going to allow me to have more time to create more free resources for everyone and to have more community experiences, which I’m much more interested in, where I’m in a community where we co-facilitate/cocreate an event together versus right now where I’m just like talking AT you and giving you access to stuff. That’s not as connecting for me, and I’m exited to get to know yall a little better and just…. nurture community. I think we all need community, especially during covid. A lot will be changing, but I’m looking forward to seeing where this is going to go, because instead of talking AT you, I’ll be talking WITH you and that is more exciting to me. Oh I have a paper calendar too. Yeah so when this comes out it’s going to be on the 20th and the art share is on the 20th, so when this comes out you have a few hours left to sign up for the art share which is FREE! Self Portraits in Utah – Among Goblins

Hi friends! Welcome to the.. what is it? Third to last week of these weekly posts like this, whaaat? So this week I’m sharing another photoset from my cross country road trip in the summer of 2019 because I have to much to share from that. I’m not even going to be sharing them weekly like this. I have so many that they won’t fit into the last weeks of February so you’ll get most of them when I mass upload them in March. It’s going to be a lot, a whole lot.
So this week, are photos, I think it’s over 100 photos, self portraits that I took in Goblin Valley, very exciting, I really like them, I hope you do too. I have BTS videos for these photos also. First look is getting access to the self portrait photoset that I took at my friend Quinn Sanguine‘s house in Tacoma Washington, also during my cross country road trip in the summer of 2019. These I took in Quinn’s bedroom, they had a cool setup with lights on their wall, it was really cute and I really like the orange tone in their room, so I took advantage and took a bunch of self portraits while I was there. So that’s it for what’s new this week.
To recap the changes that will be happening soon. February is the last month I’ll be doing weekly posts like this. In March I will be mass-uploading everything from my backlog and first look galleries, which is a WHOLE lot, a whole whole lot. So I’m not sure exactly when I’ll be dropping that mass upload, but that will be coming in March hopefully. Also in March start doing at least once a month members-only video hangouts so we can be together live “in person” virtually. I’m starting off with once a month because I don’t want to overwhelm myself with too many things all the time, which is another reason why I am not pressuring myself to do these weekly posts, not pressuring myself to create work constantly because as you know, if you’ve been here for any amount of time, I created like 4 or 5 photosets in the entirety of 2020. I know that my work, it’s not conducive to pressure and the requirement of “oh I have to do this thing right now” that just means I’m going to create something that doesn’t have intention and thought and real creativity behind it if I’m stressed about it and feeling like “oh I have to make something right now” then it’s just going to be something I made because I felt like I needed to. That doesn’t do justice to me as an artist and it doesn’t do justice to you as a member of my website enjoying my art, because if it’s something I feel like I have to do that I rush through then the quality of it is diminished and it’s just not as good. I’m committed to doing things in the timing that works for me, which is not going to necessarily be consistent. So yeah I hope that you also give yourself grace in that way if you’re able to if you’re a creator.
What else is new that I’m forgetting? By the time this comes out the EcoLove Playshop will have already happened, but you still have time to sign up for the Art Share for Going Beyond the Lens which is the 3rd Saturday of every month. I’m very excited to see your art. What else? Yeah so while I’m in this transitionary phase, I’m keeping things to a simplistic, minimalistic, sense thing… just to make sure that I’m not overwhelming myself, because I want to provide yall with quality content and quality time with me. Just because it’s not weekly like it has been in the past, I know that I’m going to be doing my best and still offering yall quality art and time with me. So yeah my archive will be available for all members and will be a lot bigger than it was, very soon in March. Like there’s SO MUCH in first look alone that it’s going to take a while to do the mass upload but I’m excited because yall are going to be in for a huge treat, with all this content. It is really scary to make changes like this and to make a leap of faith with myself and make changes in what I’m doing but I feel much more excited and… what’s the word? Maybe rejuvenated by the potential of what this could be. Right now at this point it feels like I’m talking AT you and just like “here have photos, here have videos” and while I super love all my photos and videos, it doesn’t feel like we’re connecting with each other. It feels like I’m providing content and you’re consuming it, and I would really like to start being in a community space with you instead of like “here you go!” Now it will be more like “lets hang out together and get to know each other and share our art or whatever” so yeah I’m excited for these changes even though it’s scary.

Doubles with Eva Luna & KH

Hi friends! Ok so I am excited because I feel better since I have more of a plan for what I want to do with my website. We are officially into February which means it’s our last month of the weekly things like this. I’m excited so here we go!
This week I’m sharing double exposures that I took of Eva Luna & KH from my cross country road trip in 2019 at that nude beach that I’ve already told yall about a couple of times because I’ve shared.. I think this is the last thing I have to share from that day with them. These are the double exposures that I took of them. The landscapes are from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks from earlier in that same trip when I was in California. I think they’re super beautiful, I really love how they came out. There’s also behind the scenes video for this photoset, so yay!
And then first look folks, I’m sharing the double exposures… this is a whole double exposure week. I’m sharing the double exposures that I took of Dawn, also known as coconutdreamin in the past. They’re so dreamy. The doubles…. I think it was last week, I shared me posing for Dawn, and this week it’s Dawn posing for me for the doubles so it was in the same place. I have BTS of this as well. The doubles, the landscape part of the doubles is from Glacier National Park in Montana from my cross country road trip, and the photos of Dawn I took in my house in NC, in… I’m pretty sure it was November or December of 2019. Dawn cut their hair also recently, so this before Dawn cut their hair, but Dawn has short hair now also, pretty exciting. Yeah so I don’t want to make this super long because my plan is to make some of these videos early so that I can get ahead so I can plan more exciting things for yall, and also so that I can get a head start on the mass upload of everything once March rolls around, so excited for that.
If you’re new here and you haven’t seen the past blogs that I’ve done in the last month, I’m doing an overhaul of my website and February is the last month of these weekly posts like this. In March I’ll be mass uploading everything from my backlog and all the things from First Look will be available for everybody. I’m also I think going to make one membership tier and it’s just going to be sliding scale, that’s what I’m thinking about doing because I feel like, just makes the most sense, it’s the most simple, and it also means that everything is accessible to everybody and you pay what you’re able to pay. I’ll have more information on that soon, I’ll be rebuilding my membership page, rebuilding my whole website yay! Not really excited about that because also how do I brand?! So yeah that’s something I’m thinking about a lot is like, do I wanna do branding for my website? How do I do that? What do I want my colors to be? What do I want my fonts to be? What do I want to emphasize? So right now I’m really focusing on I think… you might be excited for this, because I think most people that come to my website are most intrigued by nude gatherings, which… I am excited to tell you… I don’t have any official plans yet but my plan is to make a plan for virtual nude gatherings! So yay! That’s really exciting to me. So yeah I want to focus on virtual hangout things, nude and non nude, like educational opportunities where I share the knowledge that I have and you also share the knowledge that you have because I’m not a guru that knows everything. I know a little bit about a lot of things so I want to share knowledge, not just dispense it. I want to.. what’s the word. I want to circulate it around, I want to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, not like “I hold all of it and you have to be a certain way in order for me to share it with you” no. So I’m excited about all of that, the potential for all of these changes is pretty exciting, while it’s also scary at the same time. You know, life changes are scary but also exciting.
So yeah…. I’m going to do a quick recap of my plans, even though I’ve kinda been doing a recap of my plans here already. Weekly posts will continue as they have been through February and then will be no more. I will hopefully in March mass upload all of my backlog and first look into the galleries for everyone. I’ll be redoing my website, restructuring my memberships. If you’re already a member this won’t affect you, because everything will stay the same for you basically, you’ll just be most likely having more access to more content because it’s in my backlog right now that you’ll be getting in March, hopefully. March is the plan. Starting hopefully in March I’ll be doing at least one monthly members-only video virtual hangout community gathering thing. I probably will have themes or topics for us to talk about. I would like to have some kind of structure around it but I don’t want to just be talking AT you the whole time, I want to have a conversation between us.
I will be, OH! I haven’t told yall this yet. Or… I might post about it before this comes out. On February 12th, it’s a Friday, I will be… what’s the word… a special guest maybe? I will be helping with a, they’re calling it a playshop, which is exciting. I’ll be a part of a playshop called EcoLove Playshop that is hosted by Lior Allay & Jenna Citrus. I’m very excited because it’s centered around loving ourselves and loving the earth and coming together as a community to do those things, so I’m really excited about that. I’ve already sent Lior my two cents to share in the slideshow, and I’ll lead a short energy practice for us. I believe I’ll be at the beginning of the playshop, so I’m excited to do a little thing at the beginning and then experience it with you, yay.
What else? On the third Saturday of every month is going to be the Art Share through Going Beyond the Lens. That’s going to continually happen. Those are free, whether you’re a member or not those are free for everybody. I’m excited about that. If you have art you’d like to share with us, I’ll share the signup info below also! (REGISTER HERE!) There’s a recurring eventbrite for that through May I believe, is what we have it scheduled through, so far. The plan is to do it every month, we have the recurring event go through May for now. Yeah! I’m excited! I hope you are too.
