  • Creator Interview: Analoguepapi

It’s important to me to showcase other artists, so I am doing a series of interviews with creators I’m inspired by.

  • Sasha at an Abandoned West Virginia Mine

In early May I went up to West Virginia and spent a few days with my friend Sasha Jacobsen. During one of the days I was there we went hiking at a location that had abandoned mines to take their first nude in nature photos! We had a lot of fun and at the VERY end of our shoot a guy showed up out of nowhere on the trail carrying a snake! Luckily he was really cool about the nudity and only seemed interested in showing us the snake that he had found on his hike. It was a rather odd encounter but I’m glad it went the way it did!
CURRENTLY: I’m figuring out when the best time to move back into my parents house will be. They just left this morning for their own 2 month cross country adventure (they were inspired by my trip this summer!), and I’m watching the house for them while they’re gone. I’m going to be moving in and staying there for the foreseeable future. It’s been about 9 years since I moved out, and honestly I’m really excited to live with them again! I know for most people it’s a negative thing to move back in with parents, but for me it’s a celebratory thing! I love them so much and I’m excited to be spending more time with them once they’re back from their trip. Now I just need to pack and find a day that my friends are available to help me move my stuff!
