• How Self Portraiture Connects Me to Myself

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hi friends! Welcome to another week of me making a vlog. Today I want to talk about how self-portraiture connects me to myself.

I first started taking self-portraits in…. I actually don’t know what year because it’s been a very long time. I started seriously taking self-portraits, like for specific art purposes in maybe 2010? but I was definitely taking self-portraits way before that, maybe since I was like 14 or 15, but I didn’t start taking nude ones until I was 18 and older for obvious reasons.

I learned quickly that self-portraiture helps me feel more into my body and feel more connected to my emotions and myself, and part of that is because I feel like I’m more able to release all of everything else like societal bullshit and just be myself when I’m in front of a camera and it’s just me that’s taking the photos.

It’s very different when I’m posing for someone else taking photos, because I feel more like, “oh, I need to take pictures that they will be happy with” but when it’s self portraits, I can do whatever I want because it’s me taking the photos. So it’s whatever I’m feeling and if I like them, I can share them. But if I don’t have to, and there’s no pressure of like, “oh I have this expectation from someone else”.

So because I don’t have the limitations of someone else’s ideas of what they would like in these photos, I’m able to really connect with “Okay, how am I feeling today, in this moment? And how would I like to portray that in these images?” And sometimes I just take photos, and I never share them. And it’s just so that I can get emotions out, because sometimes I feel like it’s hard for me to just, like, sit in my emotions if I don’t have something that I’m doing to allow me to move through them, if that makes sense.

I think it’s kind of hard to just be like, “Oh, I’m having feelings and this is it. Like I’m just experiencing them in my body” because I kind of tend to want to like do something else instead and push away the emotions but when I have the container of a photoshoot with myself, then I’m able to really like focus and be like, “okay, the whole purpose of this moment is for me to connect with myself and my emotions and my body, and how I’m feeling and move through those emotions in a way that allows me to express them in my body and that shows in the images”. And for me, usually the most powerful images that I’ve taken have been self-portraits where I’ve allowed myself to FEEL.

So yeah, that’s the cliff notes of how self-portraiture connects me to myself. I’m also able to kind of experiment with who I am and who I want to be, and if I want to pretend to be someone else, and express different parts of myself, because I feel like there aren’t a lot of chances for us to explore different facets of our personalities and our thoughts and desires. There’s not a lot of context for that most times, but if I’m taking self-portraits, it can be whatever I want it to be and I can be an evil villain or I can be an innocent child, or I can be totally myself or someone else. I can be anything and it doesn’t really matter because they’re photos that I’m taking for myself. So I feel way less pressure to create something specific and I can just, I can be all of those selves in one photo shoot if I want and I think that’s very special.

So I hope you are inspired to take self portraits. I would love for you to do that. I would love to see what you create! I have a Discord server, I’ll link below, but if you’d like to take self-portraits and share them with people that appreciate art and nudity and self-portraiture, you can share them on my Discord, it’s free! CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hello friends, I’m here today to talk about Conscious Creativity.

This is an event that I have put on since 2019 with Lior Allay, and this year in 2022, Roarie Yum will be joining us. So obviously in 2020 and 2021, they were online, but we’re able to go back in person this year and we’re so excited. The first in-person event was in 2019, and then, you know, the pandemic happened, so then we had to move online, but it’s in Michigan outside of Detroit. I think the closest town is Ypsilanti, Michigan. It’s near Ypsilanti Ann Arbor area is where the actual physical location that we’ll be at is.

    Join us for Conscious Creativity!

So, Conscious Creativity. It’s morphed and changed a little bit over the years, but the main focus of it is usually self portraiture and that’s what we’re going to focus on primarily for this year. It is going to be September 27 and 28 (edit: ITS ACTUALLY AUGUST! Silly me, keeping dates in my head is hard! Haha from now on all captioned dates will be the CORRECT DATES to avoid any confusion). It’s going to be two, both of those days, you can come one or both days. It will be at a permaculture farm called Crossing Hedgerows Sanctuary. That’s where we had the first one in 2019 in person and it was amazing. It’s a beautiful space. They have a lot of land and we’re able to be as naked as we want, which is super wonderful. So, the event is going to be two days and it’s a half day each day. We will be providing food and we will be providing a lot of education and resources and information and a wonderful experience for y’all.

We don’t provide lodging and food before and after and that kind of thing, but while you’re there, we have food, we will be doing self portraiture, we’ll be doing set building, we’ll be doing group self-portraiture if you’re interested in doing that. Everything will be more like Choose Your Own Adventure. So you can participate in whichever parts seem interesting and exciting to you and nothing is mandatory. Just as long as you’re doing what feels best for you, that’s what we want to happen.

    Join us for Conscious Creativity!

So it’ll be, one of the days is in the morning and one of the days is in the evening. The evening day we’ll probably do a little bonfire at the end, if the weather cooperates. This event will be rain or shine! So, if it does rain, we do have some canopies that we’ll be able to be under so we’re not gonna be getting rained on the whole time. But if you want to be rained on, that’s okay too. If it rains. I just assumed maybe our photography equipment, like cameras and stuff will not want to be rained on but we’re hoping that it’ll be sunny. This far out we have no idea what the weather’s going to be. But I’m hoping it will be not raining so that we can run around the whole place and have no limits of where we can be.

There will be I believe a composting toilet. So we’re not going to be inside of a building. We’re going to be outside the whole time and there will be bathroom facilities, but they will not be super fancy. That’s part of the magic of being outside is having that experience of being closer to Nature.

    Join us for Conscious Creativity!

I’m super excited for this opportunity to spend time with y’all and create with yall and make self-portraits together and separately. Whatever y’all are feeling. Let’s see, what else can I say about this. We’ll have a lot of resources and take home materials to give to yall. Most of them will be digital so you can just get an email with all of the things but we have a lot of PDFs and things that we would love to share with you like tips and tricks and meditations and things like that, so I’m extra excited.

I hope that you join us for both days because we have created this experience to kind of like flow between both days. So the first day is we’re getting to know each other. We have a Welcome Circle. We all introduce ourselves, get to know each other, we’ll give tips and tricks on self portraiture and then we’ll kind of let everyone go and do their own self-portraiture adventure things and we’ll be available, the three of us, me, Lior, and Roarie, will be available for questions and feedback and that kind of thing because it’s a group workshop adventure we are not going to be available for one-on-one in-depth instruction since it’s a group experience. It will be more of like, we’re all going to come together as a group and ask questions and do things together and then we’ll kind of split off and do our own thing, but if you need some help you can wave us over, that kind of thing.

    Join us for Conscious Creativity!

Then the second day we’ll be doing set building and more self portraiture in the set if you want to be in this created space. You also have all of the nature available as well. And then at the very end of the second day, we’ll do a group self-portrait. If you’re interested in participating in that. That is always my favorite part! The group self-portraits! Just because it’s a really, like, connecting experience and it’s really wonderful to collaborate with multiple people at one time and it’s always just super fun and I love it.

So I hope you will join us for Conscious Creativity 2022, August 27th and 28th. It’s on a weekend, so Saturday and Sunday in Ypsilanti, Michigan. I’ll have the Eventbrite link to share very soon. I’ll put it in the link below. We do have early bird pricing and I believe that’s going to be through the end of July. And then after, so August 1st and on will be the general admission prices. So if you would like a cheaper ticket, make sure to get it early for the early bird so that way you don’t have to pay as much. And that way we also have a better count of who’s going to be there so we know how much food to have. It’ll be a taco / salad bar. So there will be options for meat eaters, vegans and gluten-free options, so it should be able to cover most people’s dietary needs.

    Join us for Conscious Creativity!

Yeah, I’m just, I’m super excited. I don’t know if you can tell. I haven’t had a group in person experience like this since 2019, because of the pandemic and I’m just really excited to be here with all of y’all. And yay! I’m so excited! So, yeah, I hope you join us, all the information, I’ll link below and I will talk to you in another video very soon. Bye!

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hello, I’m Bunny. You probably already know me if you’re on my website. But today, I wanted to talk about if you wanted to interview me. I’m really enjoying doing interviews for podcasts and YouTube channels and I just thought I would invite more people to do that with me some more!

I have over… let’s see. What is it? 12 years? Yeah. Over 12 years of experience with photography and modeling, self-portraiture. I am an ecosexual. I am very queer. I’m agender. So I’m a trans person. So I have a queer perspective. I have, I hope, an intersectional perspective as much as I’m able to with this white abled body of mine.

Yeah, I have a lot to say about creativity, queerness, ecosexuality, healing, connecting with yourself. So I just wanted to see if anyone here on the world wide web would like to interview me about any of these topics. I also have a lot of practice in getting tattoos. I’m over, what is it? 36 hours now into this current half body tattoo. So I have a lot to say about tattoos also and how the pain of tattoos is important to me, even though some people would be confused by that. But yeah, I can say more in another video.

But yeah, I would love to do more interviews. If you are interested in interviewing me for a variety of things. I have a form that I will share below for a way for you to reach out to me and let me know that you would like to interview me. So just fill it out and I will get in touch with you. I’ve really enjoyed doing interviews. I recently did one for Topless Topics, I did one for Nudism.TV. I’m actually not a nudist, but I am naked a lot. I have a lot to say about that, too. There’s a bunch of topics that I could talk about. So if any of the things that I’ve mentioned here are interesting to you and you want to learn more about it, you’d like to share that information with your audience. Yeah reach out to me. I would love to talk with you about it as, yeah, I have a lot to say.

I don’t want to make this video too long because I want it to be accessible to people and not be boring. So I’m going to leave it at that. But if you would like to interview me, I have a lot of information to share and I would love to do that. So, yeah, reach out! I would love to talk with you! Yay! Thank you. Bye!

  • How coworking holds me accountable

Click here to watch the video in another window

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hi friends! Today I wanted to talk about coworking. If you don’t know what coworking is, some people call it body doubling, but it’s basically where you and one or more other people hang out, either virtually or in person to do your own individual work. Like you don’t even have to be doing the same thing. You don’t even have to be talking to each other, you’re just like in the same space doing your own thing at the same time. It sounds really simple, but it has changed my life.

In January I started hosting coworking sessions and usually they’re between like an hour and a half to two hours long. And I’ve been doing it on an almost weekly basis since January, and I have gotten so much more done during coworking than I would have if I was just doing my own work whenever I’m doing it by myself, it’s kind of ridiculous.

I really struggle with motivation, especially to do tasks on a computer. I really don’t enjoy doing a bunch of the administrative stuff that is required on the computer. So since I don’t really enjoy it, I don’t really like set aside a lot of time to do it, and I avoid it and I just like procrastinate on it and it kind of just doesn’t really get done much… but since I’ve been doing coworking, I have like an hour and a half to two hours every week, dedicated to doing stuff on the computer with my friends. I’ve gotten so much done. It’s so much better than doing it by myself. So much better. Yeah. I’ve literally gotten way more done this year than I would have if I was just trying to do it on my own and it’s like, I don’t even always tell my friends what I’m even working on. I’m just like, hey, yeah, let’s get to work. Okay Let’s go and I do it.

And coworking holds me accountable, like, oh my gosh, coworking holds me accountable better than anything else in terms of like work stuff. So it holds me accountable because it is a scheduled time to do work that’s on a recurring basis. That has helped me so much. So I know like, every Wednesday morning, I’m going to get on Zoom and hang out with my friends, and we’re going to get some work done, and it’s gonna be great.

The energy is different, like people join me during these co-working sessions because it’s kind of the point is, you’re not doing it by yourself. So people join me and the energy is different than if I was doing it on my own. It like even if I don’t feel motivated, just knowing that other people are counting on me to be there helps me at least show up and get started. And then once I get started, it’s so much easier to continue. Like, I think the getting started part is the hardest part is like, “oh God, there’s this thing I have to do. There’s all these things I have to do to get ready to do the thing. I don’t want to do it at all.”

But then if it’s like, okay, today’s Wednesday and it’s coworking day so I’m going to like write down a list of all the things that I’d like to get done and I’m just going to start working on them one by one. And see how much I can do. Oh my gosh, I get so much more done. Sometimes I do more than what’s even on my list and I’m just like, how, how did I just get all the stuff done? If I was trying to do this by myself, I would have only gotten like two things done this whole week, but I just got like five things done in an hour and a half. I don’t know.

There’s some magic with coworking and there’s probably some like science to it. But I just know that I get like a fuck ton more done when I cowork, than if I’m just trying to do something by myself. It just helps having friendly faces on a computer screen. Even if you’re not even talking to each other, even if you don’t even know what each other’s doing. It’s just like I’m here working on my stuff and my friends are here working on their stuff and just knowing that we’re working on our own stuff in the same time, in the same place, whether that’s virtually or in person. Like I just, there’s so much more motivation for me to actually do the thing because my friends are doing the thing. Why don’t I go ahead and do my thing because I know I need to get it done. Coworking is the best!

Okay, so I hope that gives you some information about coworking, if you didn’t know what it was before and why I like it so much. If you would like to join me for coworking at some point Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Eastern time. That’s when I do co-working. It’s almost every Wednesday. It’s not every single one because sometimes I have like a tattoo appointment or something, but it’s most Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Eastern. If you’d like to join, I’ll put a link to the Eventbrite below and you can sign up to join me at some point if you want.

Join us for coworking! Register here

I also sometimes I’m doing them on Tuesdays for my Beyonders, like people that are members of this website and also on my Discord Channel because on Discord. I think I posted about last week. On Discord, you can do events on Discord like video events. So sometimes I’ll just do coworking on Discord too, that’s usually on Tuesday afternoons at 1pm eastern. That’s not every week, just sometimes. But yeah, if I can do coworking at least one day a week, then I can actually get some shit done. And if you’d like to join me. Link is below.

Join us for coworking! Register here

I’m also going to put a link to a survey if there’s any like, certain topic. You’d like to hear from me about, you can let me know in that survey. Yeah I hope you join me at coworking sometime, we get some stuff done, it’s real chill. Yeah and there’s a lot of queer energy because me and my friends are queer. So if you need some queer energy in your life, whether or not we’re even gonna be talking, we’re just hanging out doing our thing. Yeah come join us! Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!

  • Reasons I love Discord as a nude artist

Click here to watch the video in another window

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hello! Okay, it’s morning here. I hope you’re having a good morning wherever you are. If it’s not morning, I still wish you good morning.

Kind of continuing this nude theme that I’ve been talking about for a while. I want to talk about being a nude artist and sharing my work online and why I love Discord so much!

Okay. So as a nude artist, you’ve probably witnessed or heard that it’s really hard to be a nude artist on the internet, currently in 2022. Well, it’s been hard to be a nude artist on the internet for a long time, but it’s yeah, it’s hard out here. There’s so many times when me or people that I know have been deleted off of social media platforms just out of the blue, lost everything. Because oh oops we shared one too many nipples, or we didn’t censor something quite enough or even if we censored everything they still decide it’s too risque, too naked, you can’t be here. So yeah I’m not on social media anymore because of that and many other reasons.

I love Discord. And I’m going to show you a bunch of reasons why I love Discord, especially as a nude artist. Okay. So number one reason that I love Discord right now is because I can share nude and not-safe-for-work content without being afraid of being deleted off of my account. Such a big deal. I don’t have to put… I don’t have to censor my work. I can just post it and not have to worry because Discord is awesome. I do have to post it in a section that’s specifically for not safe for work content. But that’s easy. I’m totally cool with like labeling my work as either safe for work or not safe for work. Like that’s totally fine. I understand that. I would love to do that. If I could do that on everything, I would. So yeah, Discord is awesome.

You can create public and private servers on Discord. So that way you can have a little bit more control over if like the whole public of everyone can see your posts or if just like a select group of people that you trust and want to share your work with can see your posts.

On Discord, there’s voice and video chats, which is really fun, because then you can actually like, hang out live with people on Discord and, like, share your screen. You can like stream movies and TV shows if you want. You can have events. I’d have a bunch of people, join and watch and share. So I really like that part of Discord, the voice and video chats are fun. Also, you can be naked if you want to.

I really like that Discord has Bots to help me moderate and like, maybe have… like because there are Bots where you can play games with bots on your server. Like Discord is just awesome.

You can share text, you can share videos, you can share photos, you can share links, you can share all kinds of stuff on Discord, not just one kind of media. If you’re in the right place on Discord, you can just connect with other nude artists, which is super cool. Like on my Discord server The Burrow! I’m going to put a link below if you want to join my Discord server, its free! Hang out with us.

Join my Discord server: The Burrow!

And then, another cool thing about Discord is there are a whole lot of servers. There’s like a group / server on Discord for just about everything. If you just Google “discord server” and then the thing that you’re looking for like, oh, I like bugs or I like plants or I like art or I like TV show…. I don’t know like Discord server and blank if you search for that, there’s probably a server for the thing that you’re interested in.

So yeah, Discord is huge and has a lot of capabilities of things you can do and it’s nude friendly. And yeah, come hang out with me on my server. I do events on a semi-regular basis. Usually, at least once a month, like I’m about to dye my pubic hair blue and I’m gonna live stream it on my Discord server. It will have already happened by the time this video comes out. But yeah, I’m excited. So yeah, Discord’s great, come hang out with me. There’s a whole bunch of reasons why I like it. And a whole bunch of reasons why it feels like a much safer place for people who who make a nude art because we can actually like, post it without being censored without having to worry about being deleted or banned or shadowbanned. Yeah. I love Discord, please join. I’ll put the link below.

Join my Discord server: The Burrow!

(PS- If you’re a member of my website and want access to the exclusive part of my server, email me at bunnyluna@pm.me with your membership email address and your discord name!)

Also have a link to a survey if there’s any like, specific kind of things you want to hear from me, you can let me know. Yeah, join my server! It’s called The Burrow! It’s really cute! I have a bunch of like, bunny emojis! Yeah, and we share art there and there’s a bunch of nude stuff and we share resources. And yeah, I love Discord. Come hang out with me. Okay. I love you! Have a great day! Bye.

  • Sexualization + Consent

Click here to watch the video in another window

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hello, lovely people! Okay, in my last video, I talked about how nudity is not sexual. It’s not inherently sexual, its sexual if you make it sexual based on context and consent. So in this video, I’m going to talk about sexualization and consent, because as someone who’s naked on the internet, I get a lot of unwanted sexual attention from people specifically cishet men. *cough* Who like, I don’t know why but they just… because I’m me having like my bare breasts or my bare ass on the internet does not mean I want your sexual attention. That just means I have naked pictures on the internet. That’s all that means.

I have been sexualized without my consent more times than I can count. Honestly, it was worse when I was on social media because I would get unsolicited dick pics or like masturbation videos from people that I had no idea who the fuck they were. Those are extremely uncomfortable to receive. If you are somebody who thinks that’s a good idea, it’s not. That’s only a good idea if the other person literally asks you for it. That’s the only time it’s a good idea to send a dick pic or masturbation video. I promise you. Nobody wants to see it unless they are literally asking you for it. Okay, If I don’t want to be like “AHHHHH” this whole time but I might.

So I know that there are some people who will sexualize me, just because I’m naked, because that’s the only way that they understand nudity. And I’d while I don’t agree with that because nudity is not inherently sexual. I understand that to a degree because our society, especially here in the United States. Our society is so like puritanical and it hides nudity from us unless they’re trying to sell us something and then they give us a lot of nudity and a lot of like tits and ass just to be like “here buy this thing”. So like the context around nudity in general, in our culture in the United States is really dysfunctional. So I know that there are people who are going to sexualize me just because I am naked on the internet. I don’t have any control over that. And people can do what they want to do with their own free time in their own private space. Like I… whatever their life is their life.

Whenever they bring that sexual energy and that sexual attention into my like conscious awareness and whenever they like, push that into my, like, bubble of like my life, that’s when we have a problem because that is not consensual. I do not consent to being sexualized. If you do it and never tell me about it and like never mention it and, like, it’s not a thing that I’m aware of like whatever.

But as soon as you’re like, “yeah I masturbated to your video last night” or “oh my god, you’re so hot. I want to fuck you.” If you like send me a DM or something like that, that is… you do not have my consent to do that. That is a breach of my consent. I… no. I don’t consent to any of that. That’s when we have a problem. When you’re sexualizing me to my face or virtually to my face. You don’t have my consent to do that. I… no, I don’t tolerate. Yeah, that’s that’s when we have a problem, a big problem.

I do not consent to being sexualized. I don’t. If I wanted to be sexualized by someone, I would actually tell them. I’m a very communicative person in that regard. And if I wanted to have like a sexual situation with someone, then I would make that very clear. So, if I have not, which I probably haven’t with most people, yeah, I… you don’t have my consent.

Yeah, I don’t want to be like “I’m really angry and I’m bitching at the internet about it” for this whole video, but that’s kind of what it is and… it’s come to that. I don’t have much patience for this kind of shit anymore. I’ve been naked on the internet since 2010 and I have gotten a fuck ton of attention that I did not want because it was sexual. And I’m done doing that. So if you come at me in a sexual way, and I don’t even fucking know you, you better bet your ass that I’m going to block you. You don’t have my consent. You’re breaking consent. Your breaching consent. It’s non-consensual, so that’s what you’re choosing to do. So then I’m choosing to get you out of my space. Because that’s my choice.

I hope some people can relate to this. I know I have a lot of friends in the, like photography, nude modeling world, that would relate to this. But I don’t know if the average usual person would relate to this. But yeah, if you didn’t get anything else out of this video, I hope that you at least get this message that I’m saying: if you are sexualizing me, you don’t have my consent to do that. So it’s only okay to do that if you do it, when I have no fucking idea it’s happening. In your own space on your own time. Not involving me at all. I do not consent to being sexualized. Nope. I don’t. No. I don’t want to be a part of your sexual fantasy. Yes. I’m naked. That has nothing to do with sex. See my other video if you’re confused.

Watch my video: nudity is not inherently sexual

I don’t consent to being sexualized. So don’t do it and especially don’t do it and bring my attention to it. I don’t want to fucking know, that’s none of my business. And my sexuality is not your business. I’m naked. Yes, but that has nothing to do with sex. Okay, the end.

Yeah. Okay. I hope this video wasn’t too harsh for you. Maybe I did need to push some buttons. Maybe I did need to be harsh to get my point across but I yeah, I’m just fucking tired of getting unsolicited dick pics and unsolicited sexual attention. None of those are consensual. So yeah. Not cool. Not cool at all.

Okay, if you have any information about things that you would like to see me share, I’m going to put a survey below and you can let me know what you want to see for me. Otherwise, thank you for being here on my website. I love you so much. I might sound angry from earlier. But yeah, I’ve allowed to be angry. I’ve been… my consent has been breached a lot of times. So it’s about time for me to be upset about it. Okay. I love you. I hope every great day and I’ll talk to you soon!

  • Nudity is not inherently sexual

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hi, good morning. Well, I don’t know if it’s morning where you are, but it’s morning here at my house right now when I’m creating this so good morning. My voice is a little weird, but it’ll be fine. So I’ve been talking a lot about nudity recently and I’m gonna keep that trend going for this video.

I’m going to talk about how nudity is not inherently sexual. I think this is important for a lot of people to hear because I think in our current patriarchal puritanical culture nudity is either shamed or sexualized or sexualized to sell something or just like hidden in general, which kind of goes along with the shaming part. And I just want to talk about it. Let’s talk about it. Obviously. Like I’m naked right now, so I don’t believe any of those things that I just said, in terms of it being shameful or sexual. So yeah, let’s talk about it.

Okay, so we were all born naked. Like we didn’t come out with clothes on. And that is not a sexual experience whatsoever. We have to get naked to shower and that’s not a sexual experience. I mean, it could be, but it’s not inherently a sexual experience. showers are for getting clean, you know, washing your body. You have to be naked to be able to wash your body. There’s nothing sexual about it. People who have had a baby and if they are breastfeeding, that is a way that they are either nude or partially nude… in order, to perform a function like to feed their baby. That’s not sexual.

There are so many things you can do naked. And it has nothing to do with sex. Like, you can clean your house naked. You can go on a walk naked. Well, if you have a safe enough place to go on a walk naked. You can cook naked… maybe with an apron to protect your skin if there’s gonna be any like popping oil or something, but like literally there’s so many things you can do, naked that have nothing to do with sex or sexuality or like being sexual and it doesn’t make sense to me I guess because I grew up in a house where nudity was not a big deal. And I really feel like people who grew up in a really like, “let’s hide that away. This is shameful, nudity is bad.” The people that grew up that way are the ones who grew up thinking that anything that’s nude is inherently sexual because like, “oh, that was something I was not allowed to experience when I was younger so there must be something about it that’s like bad or reason why I shouldn’t have experienced it so maybe that means that it’s all sexual.”

It’s not… this is not a sexual video. I am 100% naked. I’m not wearing anything. I don’t even have socks on, like this is not a sexual video whatsoever. I’m naked and it’s not sexual. Who woulda thought?!

Okay. So on the other side of that. So nudity is not inherently sexual… on the other side of that, you can be completely 100% covered in clothes and be in a sexual situation. The sex part has nothing to do with the clothing or not clothing part. They’re totally separate. Completely separate. I wish more people would understand this, and I’m not sure how to articulate it in a way that people will understand, because it just like makes sense to me, and when things make sense, I don’t always know how to explain it because it’s like, “yeah, duh.” So I just like, I don’t know. I’m trying to, I’m trying to describe this to y’all in a way that might hopefully change some people’s minds or maybe plant a seed.

So from my opinion, and I hope there are a lot of other people that also have this opinion. I’m pretty sure there are. Things that are sexual whether it’s sexual or not is based on the context and whether or not there’s consent. So context is so important! This context right now, I’m making a video and talking to you about something. So that is more of like an educational or informational context. That’s not sexual. Yes, I’m naked, I have no clothes on, but this is not a sexual context.

Another example, let me give you a clothing as sexual context. Maybe I am on a date with someone and we already have like a sexual dynamic going on and there’s consent involved and they know… I know, or they know, or we both know ideally, we both know that there’s consent in terms of like, yeah, let’s make this a sexual interaction, but maybe we’re fully clothed. But maybe we’re like really flirty. And yeah, that could definitely be sexual with no nudity, with lots of clothes, fully clothed. Context and consent matters.

Okay. I don’t wanna repeat myself too much. I feel like you hopefully have gotten the point by now. I don’t know how to explain this in any other way at this moment. But if I think of something, I’ll make another video. But bottom line, nudity is not inherently sexual. If you’re naked, that’s not an invitation for sex. Or sexual attention. Period. The end.

OK, I hope you got a lot out of this video. I hope you enjoyed it. Do you have something you’d like to hear from me? I have a survey, you can let me know what kind of content you would like to see. I’ll link it below. Thank you for being here. It means the world to me that you are even on my website at all. Thank you! I love you!

  • 25 Ways To Express Your Ecosexuality

Click here to watch the video in another window

    CAPTION FOR THE VIDEO ABOVE:

Hello. Last week I talked about “you might be ecosexual if…” This week I’m kind of staying on that ecosexual theme and I have a list of 25 ways to express your Ecosexuality. This is a not a comprehensive list. It’s just 25 things that I came up with like, on the spot and feel free to do any of these things or none of them it’s totally up to you. This is just something I want to offer for you and all of these have a connection to Ecosexuality, even if you are like, “I don’t know how that is connected to ecosexuality.” If you are wondering how it is connected to ecosexuality, I’ll link my like whole huge post about Ecosexuality and the caption below so you can do a little more looking up on it if you’re like, “how does this relate to this?” Yeah, or you can ask me a question, like you can comment and be like, tell me more or you can email me. Yeah, I maybe I’ll make another video about it. Okay, here we go.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ECOSEXUALITY

I wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget.

25 ways to express your ecosexuality!

Number 1, put your bare feet on the Earth. Please do it. It feels so good. Also like scientifically, it’s super good for you. Even if you did nothing else, putting your feet on the ground is so good for your physical, mental, spiritual health. And even if you’re not, woowoo, like you can look up like scientific things that say like, it helps with your blood pressure and it helps you feel less depressed but also science isn’t like the end-all be-all of like what is important to know. I have a lot of things to say about that, but that’s not for this video.

Number 2, smell a flower or look at a flower. Or just yeah, enjoy flowers.

Number 3, savor the flavor of a sweet fruit, especially like a juicy peach. I love peaches. Ah fruit. Actually, they have. Have you ever had cotton candy grapes? They exist, and they really do taste like cotton candy and oh my goodness. So yeah. Enjoy some sweet fruit because yeah, that is just a really enjoyable way to express your Ecosexuality.

Number 4, sit quietly and listen to the sounds of birds and bugs. I am 100% convinced that that is sound healing. There’s a video on the internet of a frog singing, but it’s sitting in a puddle and you can see the ripples of sound going out from it because it’s sitting in a puddle. It is the most Magical video and it’s my favorite video that I’ve ever seen on the internet ever. I like, I’m not even kidding. I watch it on a regular basis. I saved it on my phone because like I need to see this all the time. Yeah. I’m convinced that the songs of creatures, including humans, but especially like birds and frogs for me personally are sound healing. And are like, little love notes from the universe and from the Earth and from the beings who are creating the songs. Okay.

WATCH THE FROG VIDEO HERE!!!! AHHHHH!!! (Actually I’m pretty sure it’s a toad and not a frog but whatever)

Number 5, watch the wind in the trees. I feel like this is kind of self-explanatory, but I super love trees a lot. As you can see I’ve like put a bunch of trees on myself permanently forever and ever, trees are important, and just seeing them and the way that they move in the wind… It’s magical.

Number 6, take a hike and admire the life all around you. Let that sink in for a second. It just feels good for me to be outside. And walking around… I could walk forever. I feel like as a Sagittarius… yeah, I like hiking a lot.

Number 7, swim naked especially if you can do it below a waterfall. Super magical. Skinny-dipping in general, feels really great but being in like a cold mountain river like near a waterfall. I can’t even explain how magical it is if you haven’t experienced that before.

Number 8, follow the cycles of the Moon and learn how they connect to yourself and your feelings, and/or your body. So this is one that will take a little bit of time. It’s not like an immediate thing because usually noticing cycles will take at least a few months. So I have a journal and that helps me with that. Yeah

Number 9, cuddle! Enjoy the feeling of physical touch with another being, whether it’s a human or an animal. Yeah, just use your senses. Any way you can use your senses. I’m just giving you a bunch of cute suggestions. But yeah, like just using your senses and being in your body is a great way to express your Ecosexuality.

Number 10, honor the seasons of your life. We all must slow down and rest in order to be able to keep going. There is a reason that there are seasons on the planet. Like there’s, you know, spring summer fall winter. Because nothing can be going all the time forever infinitely, which is the same for us. We also need to take breaks. So honoring that and allowing yourself to slow down when you need to is a really big important thing.

Number 11, plant an herb, veggie or flower garden. Any kind of garden, just more plants, even if you don’t have land you can get a little house plant and nurture that.

Number 12, talk to, hug, love on trees and plants and rocks, and I’m serious, like, I actually hug trees. It’s really wonderful. Just spending some time close to a tree even if you’re not touching it, if you’re like, “I don’t want to touch a tree”, even if you’re just like sitting underneath it for a while just kind of sharing your energy with it. Powerful.

Number 13, pick up trash. Even if it’s not yours. This is something I do a lot. Sometimes I’ll even just carry a small trash bag with me when I go on walks because sometimes it’s really a mess and even if it’s not my trash, I think it’s important for there to not be trash everywhere, especially if I’m in nature. I feel like it’s just like a sign of basic respect to the planet to not have trash everywhere.

Number 14, learn more about yourself without the constraints of societal expectations and norms. This is kind of a harder one and one that takes a lot of time and that’s okay. I have some stories about gender things and sexuality things and if you care to look for those, I can find them. Yeah, let me know in the comments if you want me to find them and then I’ll find them but it will take me a little bit I think. Yeah, but getting to know yourself is kind of important, but also kind of really difficult.

Number 15, protest for Black Lives Matter in any way you’re capable of, or maybe for land conservation, or maybe, for Reproductive Justice, whatever is important to you personally and is being attacked by the people that are in power at the moment. Yeah, it’s important to stand up for what is important to you and that is definitely an ecosexual act is if you’re trying to protect the things that you care about.

Number 16, pay reparations to Black and Indigenous folks. This one goes a lot along with the one previous. But yeah, if you’re someone that has wealth, definitely redistribute it as much as you’re able to. I definitely strive to do that myself. I have a couple of recurring places that I donate to every month. And I donate to individuals in need as often as I’m able to, usually on a monthly basis too. Yeah, like if you have any kind of power, whether that’s financial power or any other kind of power, let’s use it for good.

Number 17, play outside in whatever way feels fun and rejuvenating to you. Just running around or even even if just like sitting and reading as your way of playing and you’re like, “I don’t want to get dirty”, whatever feels good to you. Just be outside and some way that is enjoyable.

Number 18, get a house plant and become friends with it. I kind of talked about this when I was talking about making a garden. But yeah, if you don’t have the space for an actual Garden, you can still have plants around.

Number 19, ride a bike. This is just another way to like, get outside.

Number 20, protect clean water, and ban toxic pollutants. That’s kind of self-explanatory. We cannot exist without water and obviously if it is contaminated, we can’t survive on contaminated water.

Number 21, invest in your local community in whatever way that means for you. Everybody has a different role to play and everybody has different abilities and financial access and needs and time that’s available. So whatever works for you, invest in your local community.

Number 22, have a picnic outside under a tree, even better if it’s with someone that you care about.

Number 23, lay in the grass and look up at the clouds, or the stars, depending on what time of day. This is so calming to me and it kind of gives you like a dual benefit in like, you have something cool to look at and talk to about with someone you care about or if you’re by yourself, you can use your imagination and your lying on the ground, hopefully. Getting that grounding that Earthing, that connection to the Earth with your body. So good!

Number 24, learn about permaculture. If you don’t know what a permaculture is. It’s basically like farming but in a way that is sustainable and able to be continued throughout time and without needing a whole bunch of maintenance constantly and definitely not using bunch of  toxic chemicals and fertilizers and shit.

Number 25, learn about animism. I kind of talked about animism a little bit. I don’t… was it this video or the last video? Either way, learn about am animism. It’s a, it’s beautiful.

This video is really long already, so I’m going to stop here, but I love you. Thank you so much for being here. It means the world’s me that you keep coming back to my website, and I hope to see you again soon.
